Abstract: There is provided a liquid crystal television and a plasma television that can adapt to various destinations and are resistant to noise in view of the difference of circuit configurations between a liquid crystal television and a plasma television. A video signal processing circuit is formed on a digital board, an input and output circuit is formed on a jack board, an audio signal processing circuit and a power supply circuit are formed on an analog board, and a rectifier circuit and an inverter circuit are formed on an inverter board. Further, on the back of the LCD, the inverter board is disposed in a vertically oriented shape in the left, the analog board is disposed in the lower center, the digital board is disposed in the upper center adjacent to the analog board, and the jack board is disposed in the upper right.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a storage device connected through an internal network with an external network. The storage device includes a storage medium for storing files and an access unit for carrying out data communication of an e-mail with an attached file for accessing the storage medium with a terminal that is coupled with the external network. The access unit accepts access to the storage medium from the terminal by carrying out the data communication of the e-mail.
Abstract: A television apparatus 100 is so designed as to store into ROM 14 the table that contains image control parameters and tone control parameters used for approximating the image and tone characteristics from different manufacturers wherein a microcomputer 13 reads and uses the image control parameters and the tone control parameters from the ROM 14 to thereby issue a signal processing instruction to a video processing circuit 11 and an audio processing circuit 12 in order to approximate the image and tone of each manufacturer. This allows collective control of image and tone and also allows a user to select collectively controlled image and tone easily.
Abstract: When the assembly is complete, the protrusion 2e of the leaf spring 2b abuts against the bottom wall surface 3g which is an inner bottom surface of the cover member 3 and the leaf spring 2b is bent. Since the protrusion is pushed against the cover member 3, the leaf spring 2b generates force of repulsion which pushes the frame member 2f toward the opposite direction of the cover member 3. In addition, since the leaf springs 2b are aligned straightly between three bosses 3b, the leaf spring 2b pushes the push button 2 toward the switch board 1 almost in parallel. In other words, if the push button 2 is held in the cover member 3, without further components, the push button 2 is pushed against the switch board 1 and there will not be a possibility of a wobble.
Abstract: Disclosed is an audio equipment, comprising: an audio output amplifier and a speaker, with a sound output from the speaker based on an audio signal that is input in the audio output amplifier, and with a high signal output as an error signal to protect the audio output amplifier when an abnormal operation occurs. The audio equipment further comprising a rectifier circuit to stabilize the error signal.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a separately excited inverter circuit whose switching circuit having a plurality of switching elements and which is capable of minimizing the damage of other switching elements even if any of the plurality of switching elements is short circuited and damaged.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a television receiving system comprising: a smart antenna having a receiving unit that electrically switches directions of receiving television broadcasting signals and a connecting portion that is detachably connected to the receiving unit; and a television receiver couple with the receiving unit though the connecting portion and having a holding portion that holds the receiving unit detached from the connecting portion on a rear surface of the television receiver where is opposite to a front surface displaying videos.

Abstract: The separately-excited inverter circuit for performing the protecting operation upon the rise in the output voltage caused by the contact failure includes a switching circuit 26b which applies the AC to a primary coil of a pressure-rising transformer 26e, a control circuit C1 which starts a switch control of the switching circuit 26b upon an input of a command signal to set an oscillation state ON from a transmission line for the command signal to command to set the oscillation state ON and OFF, an output voltage monitor circuit 51 which allows a comparator 51a to compare an output voltage of the separately-excited inverter circuit with a predetermined voltage, and to output a predetermined reference voltage when the output voltage is higher than the predetermined voltage, and a thyristor circuit 52 which is turned ON to set the transmission line of the command signal into an oscillation OFF state upon the input of the reference voltage to the gate to stop a switch control of the control circuit C1.

Abstract: On the periphery of the opening, there are formed the rib extending toward the position corresponding to the region of the video non-display region Y of the liquid-crystal panel, not covered by the metal sheet, and the rib in such a shape as to be offset on the outer side of the rib, extending toward the metal sheet, and the rib, and the rib each are at an equal distance from the display face of the liquid-crystal panel, each being in the shape gradually approaching toward the rear face from the respective corners of the opening toward the region in the vicinity of the centers of the respective sides thereof. Consequently, it is possible to form a gap of such a predetermined spacing as not to make a viewer discomfort while keeping the display panel out of contact with a view area periphery of the cabinet.
