Patent number: 11539681Abstract: A network with a set of servers can support authentication from a module, where the module includes an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC). The network can send a first network module identity, a first key K, and an encrypted second key K for an eUICC profile to an eUICC subscription manager. The second key K can be encrypted with a symmetric key. The module can receive and activate the eUICC profile, and the network can authenticate the module using the first network module identity and the first key K. The network can (i) authenticate the user of the module using a second factor, and then (ii) send the symmetric key to the module. The module can decrypt the encrypted second key K using the symmetric key. The network can authenticate the module using the second key K. The module can comprise a mobile phone.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2019Date of Patent: December 27, 2022Assignee: Network-1 Technologies, Inc.Inventor: John A. Nix

Patent number: 11533046Abstract: A novel and useful system and method of generating quantum unitary noise using silicon based quantum dot arrays. Unitary noise is derived from a probability of detecting a particle within a quantum dot array structure comprising position based charge qubits with two time independent basis states |0> and |1>. A two level electron tunneling device such as an interface device, qubit or other quantum structure is used to generate quantum noise. The electron tunneling device includes a reservoir of particles, a quantum dot, and a barrier that is used to control tunneling between the reservoir and the quantum dot. A detector circuit connected to the device outputs a digital stream corresponding to the probability of a particle of being detected. Controlling the bias applied to the barrier controls the probability of detection. Thus, the probability density function (PDF) of the output unitary noise can be controlled to correspond to a desired probability.Type: GrantFiled: November 9, 2021Date of Patent: December 20, 2022Assignee: Equal1.Labs Inc.Inventors: David J. Patent number: 11528342Abstract: A technology is provided for invoking a random linear network coding (RLNC) communications protocol between a client and server in a network. In one example, a synchronize message requesting a network connection to a server can contain an indication that a client supports the RLNC communications protocol to encode and decode data packets using random linear network coding. The server can analyze the synchronize message for the indication that the client supports the RLNC communications protocol and send an acknowledge message to the client indicating that the server supports the RLNC communications protocol. Thereafter, the server can listen on a communications channel for a connection request sent by the client to communicate with the server using the RLNC communications protocol.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2019Date of Patent: December 13, 2022Assignee: APS Technology 1 LLCInventors: Jeffrey G. Patent number: 11525165Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of treatment and method of therapy selection for patient suffering from cancer. The inventors provide the first demonstration of a dual role of IRE1 downstream signaling in cancer. Indeed, the inventors demonstrate that the modulation of IRE1 signaling characteristics in GBM cells controls tumor aggressiveness. Furthermore, the inventors provide evidence supporting a novel concept where IRE-downstream signals play combined/integrated roles in cancer development, where XBP1s provides pro-tumoral signals, whereas RIDD of mRNA and miR17 rather elicits anti-tumoral features. Their data, obtained using established cell lines, patient tumor samples and primary GBM lines, depict a complex scenario where IRE1 signaling orchestrates distinct aspects of GBM biology. In particular, the invention relates to a method for predicting whether a subject will be eligible to a treatment with an IRE1 RNase inhibitor.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2018Date of Patent: December 13, 2022Assignees: INSERM, UNIVERSITÉ DE RENNES 1, ENIOS APPLICATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANYInventors: Eric Chevet, Aristotelis Chatziioannou
