In some implementations, a computer-implemented method comprises: obtaining a target object having a first style, a style of the target object being editable; obtaining a reference image including a reference object; obtaining a second style of the reference object, the second style of the reference object being extracted from the reference image; and applying the second style to the target object.

Abstract: A network is programmed to, based on a service function policy, determine a first service function chain of services to apply to outbound packets of a first type that arrive at a serving gateway; upon classifying a first outbound packet arriving at the serving gateway as the first type based on an identifier of the first outbound packet, route the first outbound packet to the services of the first service function chain; map the identifier to the first type such that the mapping is accessible by the packet gateway; determine a second service function chain of the same services to apply to inbound packets of the first type that arrive at a packet gateway; and upon classifying a first inbound packet arriving at the packet gateway as the first type based on the mapped identifier, route the first inbound packet to the services of the second service function chain.

Abstract: Exercise grip and methods of forming exercise grips are disclosed. In one aspect, an exercise grip includes a wrist strap and a protective portion. The protective portion has a palm end and a finger end. The palm end is located closer to the wrist strap than the finger end. The finger end is formed offset from a centerline axis of the palm end of the protective portion.

Abstract: Wireless communications are described for connection setup resume, and/or release of a wireless device. The wireless device may communicate with a network device using more than one access technology. The network device may assist in an operation for the wireless device, such as for a transition from one state to another state for a first access technology, using a second access technology.

Abstract: A compression collar is manufactured for use in reinforcing an interference fit between an end of a pipe and a fitting. A precursor form is injection molded using a cold-expansion material. The precursor form has a tubular body with an initially closed axial end and a bore that is initially blind formed in the other axial end. Material is removed from the initially closed axial end of the tubular body of the precursor form to form an opening in the initially closed axial end that connects to the bore thereby forming the compression collar. The opening has an inner periphery with a profile in axial cross section that is different than any profile in axial cross section of an inner periphery of the bore. The collar formed may lack knitlines and may include tabs formed during the removal step which help to position the collar on a pipe.

Abstract: In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a method including: obtaining, by a computing device, a set of messages, each message including message metadata and message structure, at least one message of the set of messages comprising a digital asset; clustering, by the computing device, the set of messages based on the message metadata and the message structure; classifying, by the computing device, the clusters into categories; determining, by the computing device, a digital asset structure from at least one message cluster; and generating, by the computing device, at least one mapping rule based on the digital asset structure.

Abstract: A method of engaging tissue is provided. The method includes: providing a forceps including a housing, a first jaw and a second jaw slidably and pivotably connected to a distal portion of the housing, and a driver; advancing the forceps in a closed configuration through a body lumen until the forceps are near a target tissue site; moving the driver in a distal direction relative to the housing to move the first and second jaws to an open configuration; positioning the first and second jaws adjacent to the target tissue site; and securing a tissue sample within the first and second jaws by moving the driver in a proximal direction relative to the housing to rotate the first and second jaws relative to the housing from the open configuration towards the closed configuration, which also moves the first and second jaws longitudinally in a proximal direction.

Abstract: The solar energy and solar farms are used to generate energy and reduce dependence on oil (or for environmental purposes). The maintenance, operation, optimization, and repairs in big farms become very difficult, expensive, and inefficient, using human technicians. Thus, here, we teach using the robots with various functions and components, in various settings, for various purposes, to improve operations in big (or hard-to-access) farms, to automate, save money, reduce human mistakes, increase efficiency, or scale the solutions to very large scales or areas, e.g., for repair, operation, calibration, testing, maintenance, adjustment, cleaning, improving the efficiency, and tracking the Sun.

Abstract: A scent dispenser/absorber includes a container, an invertible lid reversibly attached to an open end of the container, a vented cage, and a scent cartridge housed within the cage. In an “off” condition or state, the scent cartridge/cage combination is received in an interior chamber of the container, where the scent cartridge is out of communication with the surrounding environment and therefore incapable of performing scent dispensing or absorbing functions. The scent dispenser/absorber can be switched to an “on” condition or state by manually inverting the lid and, in some cases, the associated cage/scent cartridge combination, such that the scent cartridge can be positioned externally of the container, where it can communicate with the surrounding environment to perform a desired scent dispensing or absorbing function. In an “on” condition, scent molecules originating from an odorant contained in the scent cartridge are diffused into the surrounding environment.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for encouraging or incentivizing delivery orders is disclosed. The method includes monitoring, by a computing device, a plurality of delivery orders placed by users, determining, based on the monitoring of the plurality of delivery orders, at least one trending drop-off location, determining, based on the at least one trending drop-off location and at least one location of the users, a subset of users, and sending, to at least one computing device of the subset of users, an incentive or a suggestion to place a delivery order.

Abstract: Some variations provide a composition for reducing a metal ore, the composition comprising a carbon-metal ore particulate, wherein the carbon-metal ore particulate comprises at least about 0.1 wt % to at most about 50 wt % fixed carbon on a moisture-free and ash-free basis, and wherein the carbon is at least 50% renewable carbon as determined from a measurement of the 14C/12C isotopic ratio. Some variations provide a process for reducing a metal ore, comprising: providing a biomass feedstock; pyrolyzing the feedstock to generate a biogenic reagent comprising carbon and a pyrolysis off-gas comprising hydrogen or carbon monoxide; obtaining a metal ore comprising a metal oxide; combining the carbon with the metal ore, to generate a carbon-metal ore particulate; optionally pelletizing the carbon-metal ore particulate; and utilizing the pyrolysis off-gas to chemically reduce the metal oxide to elemental metal, such as iron.

Abstract: An assembly and a method are provided for manufacturing a joined assembly. A method for manufacturing includes fitting together and datuming a beam and a node, wherein at least one of the beam and the node is formed with an aperture, and wherein a cylindrical interface is formed between the beam and node. Further, the method includes advancing a mechanical fastener through the aperture to temporarily hold the beam and the node in an engagement. Also, the method includes injecting a structural adhesive into the cylindrical interface between the beam and the node. The method includes final joining the beam and the node by curing the structural adhesive.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to folder-based data organization method and system. The method may include obtaining a keyword hierarchy for a plurality of documents. The keyword hierarchy may be configured for organizing the plurality of documents and include a plurality of levels for the keyword hierarchy. The method may further include generating a folder directory in a data storage system based on the keyword hierarchy. A folder hierarchy of the folder directory reflects at least a portion of the keyword hierarchy and folders in the folder hierarchy are named based on corresponding keywords in the at least a portion of the keyword hierarchy. The method may further include determining a target folder for storing one of the documents in the folder directory based on the keyword hierarchy path associated with the document and storing the document to the target folder in the folder directory.

Abstract: A method for ranking documents in search results includes defining a first training data set, the first training data set including, for each of a plurality of user queries, information respective of a document selected by a user from results responsive to the query and information respective of one or more documents within an observation window after the selected document in the results, and defining a second training data set, the second training data set including, for each of the plurality of user queries, information respective of the selected document. The method further includes training a first machine learning model with the first training data set, training a second machine learning model with the second training data set, and ranking documents of a further search result set according to the output of the first machine learning model and the output of the second machine learning model.

Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods provide a cloud-based framework for the creation and/or enhancement of high quality media content for dissemination over a computerized network. The disclosed framework is configured to operate in accordance with at least one of a content creation, content enhancement and/or rendering template. Such templates can function as rules engines that call specific types of ML or AI algorithms or routines that modify the input data according to the type of template being used. Thus, the disclosed framework can be utilized for creating new high-quality media, improving upon existing media and/or reformatting media for rendering upon dissemination.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically mitigating a DDOS attack. In an aspect, the technology relates to a computer-implemented method for dynamically mitigating a distributed-denial-of-service (DDOS) attack. The computer-implemented method may include detecting a DDOS attack directing malicious traffic to a target, identifying one or more source locations of the malicious traffic, and in response to detecting the DDOS attack, activating one or more scrub clusters in the identified one or more source locations of the malicious traffic. The method may further include directing traffic intended for the target to the to the activated one or more scrub clusters, detecting an end of the DDOS attack, and in response to detecting the end of the DDOS attack, deactivating the one or more scrub clusters to release hardware resources.

Abstract: A drilling and bolting rig includes a carousel rotatable about a carousel axis and including a plurality of stations configured to support a plurality of consumables, one or more actuators, and a position sensor coupled to the carousel. The one or more actuators are configured to rotate the carousel about the carousel axis. The drilling and bolting rig further includes an electronic processor coupled to the one or more actuators and the position sensor. The electronic processor is configured to detect, using the position sensor, a rotational position of the carousel, and rotate, using the one or more actuators, the carousel based on the rotational position of the carousel.
