Abstract: A system and method for delivering promotional rewards to a customer mobile device comprising a promotional reward wheel, a media server, and messaging application operating on the customer's mobile device. A customer interacts with the promotional reward wheel and the system captures that interaction and responsive to the promotional reward that was won by the interaction, generates a message on the customer's mobile device with a means to claim the reward by sending the generated message to the appropriate message endpoint.

Abstract: A wireless device may be configured to perform a method. The method may include receiving, by the wireless device, configuration parameters indicating duration values for skipping physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring on a bandwidth part (BWP). The duration values can be from first values in response to the BWP having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) and second values in response to the BWP having a second SCS, wherein each value of the second values is equal to multiplication of a respective value, of the first values, and a same granularity value. The method may further include receiving a downlink control information (DCI) indicating skipping PDCCH monitoring on the BWP for a time duration based on a duration value of the duration values. The method may additionally include skipping monitoring the PDCCH on the BWP for the time duration based on the DCI.

Abstract: A mesh model of a 3D space is provided with improved accuracy by refining the locations of edges of objects in the space. The mesh model includes vertices which define surfaces of triangles. Triangles are identified which have two vertices in one plane and another, outlier vertex in another, adjacent plane. A line is fitted to the outlier vertices to define an edge of an object, and the outlier vertices are moved to the line, referred to as a mesh-based line. Texture data from images of the space can be used to further refine the edge. In one approach, gradients in grayscale pixels which correspond the vertices of the mesh-based line are used to define a grayscale-based line. The two line definitions can be combined or otherwise used to provide a final definition of the edge. The object can be measured based on the length and position of the edge.
Abstract: A computing system obtains text that includes words and provides the text as input to an emotional classifier model that has been trained based upon emotional classification. The computing system obtains a textual embedding of the computer-readable text as output of the emotional classifier model. The computing system generates a phoneme sequence based upon the words of the text. The computing system, generates, by way of an encoder of a text to speech (TTS) model, a phoneme encoding based upon the phoneme sequence. The computing system provides the textual embedding and the phoneme encoding as input to a decoder of the TTS model. The computing system causes speech that includes the words to be played over a speaker based upon output of the decoder of the TTS model, where the speech reflects an emotion underlying the text due to the textual embedding provided to the encoder.
Abstract: Examples relate to adjusting load power consumption based on a power option agreement. A computing system may receive power option data that is based on a power option agreement and specify minimum power thresholds associated with time intervals. The computing system may determine a performance strategy for a load (e.g., set of computing systems) based on a combination of the power option data and one or more monitored conditions. The performance strategy may specify a power consumption target for the load for each time interval such that each power consumption target is equal to or greater than the minimum power threshold associated with each time interval. The computing system may provide instructions the set of computing systems to perform one or more computational operations based on the performance strategy.

Abstract: A system and method for automatically identifying a golf swing without any active participation on the part of the golfer is disclosed. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. An apparatus for video decoding includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry checks an inferable condition for a flag of a specific prediction mode for a current block before parsing the flag of the specific prediction mode for the current block from a coded video bitstream. The specific prediction mode is one of a plurality of inter picture prediction modes. When the inferable condition indicates that the flag is inferable, the processing circuitry infers the flag without parsing the flag from the coded video bitstream. When the inferable condition indicates uncertainty for inferring the flag, the processing circuitry parses the flag from the coded video bitstream. Then, the processing circuitry reconstructs the current block according to the specific prediction mode when the flag is indicative of an application of the specific prediction mode on the current block.

Abstract: A tying system or mechanism with at least one lace and a fastener element can be used with a boxing glove or a shoe to allow a user to secure the at least one lace around the boxing glove or shoe without a second person and/or without tying a knot. The tying mechanism can include a back-to-back hook and loop of a fastener element and can include or more locking mechanisms to anchor free ends of the one or more laces at the eyelets of the boxing glove or shoe. The tying mechanism can generate a force that is radial or lateral to a gap defined by flaps of the boxing glove or shoes.
