  • Publication number: 20060137162
Abstract: Extending sections are positioned along X and Y directions by engagement sections, and positioned along Y direction of a vehicle by positioning sections using mounts of a rear bumper. This makes it possible to accurately indicate a forming position of a vehicular-part mounting hole, which is needed to mount a rear under spoiler, with respect to the rear bumper based on a scribed mark if the extending sections are positioned by using the engagement sections and the positioning sections. Therefore, a worker can form a vehicular-part mounting hole in an appropriate position by merely making a hole in the position of the scribed mark, without requiring a work of removing the rear bumper.

  • Patent number: 7055843
Abstract: In a vehicle body-protecting device for a two-wheeled motor vehicle, in which a pair of left and right guard members are mounted to a vehicle body frame assembly to overhang laterally outwards, so that when the two-wheeled motor vehicle is turned sideways, said guard members are allowed to be grounded, whereby the grounding of an outer surface of a vehicle body is diminished, each of the guard members is formed by connecting a ground element which is grounded upon the turning-sideways of the two-wheeled motor vehicle to a mounting base secured to the vehicle body frame assembly through an elastic element for swinging movement. Thus, it is possible to eliminate the need for the special strengthening of the vehicle body frame assembly in such a manner that a shock due to the turning-sideways of the two-wheeled motor vehicle can be received on the vehicle body frame assembly, while being buffered.

  • Patent number: 7007289
Abstract: A CD changer mounted on a vehicle is supported in a floating manner to sufficiently damp vibrations and prevent a CD from skipping. Mounting plates and a pair of inner support plates are connected to each other at two front and two rear points by a first set of dampers, which buffer displacement of the mounting plates within a vertical plane relative to the inner support plates. The inner support plates and a pair of outer support plates opposite the inner support plates and supported on the base plates are connected to each other at two front and two rear points by a second set of dampers, which buffer displacement of the inner support plates within a vertical plane relative to the outer support plates. Suspended springs mounted between the mounting plate and the outer support plate exert a spring force to counteract the weight of the CD changer.

  • Patent number: 6883850
Abstract: In a structure of accommodating a CD changer, in which the CD changer biased for turning toward a protruding position is covered with a lid plate closing an open end of an accommodating recess in a state in which the CD changer is in an accommodated position, an engagement portion is provided on the lid plate mounted to a support frame so that it can be slid between a disengaged position and an engaged position. A locking portion is provided on each of base plates so that the locking portion engages with the engagement portion in a state in which the lid plate is at the engaged position, and the engagement with the engagement portion is released in response to the sliding of the lid plate toward the disengaged position. A locking mechanism capable of locking the lid plate in the engaged position and releasing the locked state by a manual operation is provided between the lid plate and the support frame. Thus, it is possible to ensure that the CD changer cannot be turned undesirably to the protruding position.

  • Patent number: 6879603
Abstract: A technique for performing a time slot interchange in a processor. The TSI process is surrounded by a multiplexing/demultiplexing circuit for converting a plurality of PCM highways into a single input serial data stream. The mux/demux circuit includes elastic stores to align frames and shift resisters to mux/demux with a minimum of delay. The TSI processor includes an input and an output buffered series port, a pair of input buffers, one to receive even-numbered frames from the PCM highways and one to receive odd-numbered frames, and an output buffer. Data is read from the appropriate input buffer in a non-sequential fashion as commanded by the processor in accordance with information stored in connection arrays (address buffers). The data is then written to the output buffer sequentially. The timing of the reading and writing steps is optimized relative to free running buffered serial port pointers for each BSP to reduce the frame delay.
