Abstract: A processor-implemented method includes receiving user input from one or more user input devices, the user input corresponding to a selected element of a displayed graphical user interface having one or more software hooks to functionality provided by an undisplayed interface. The processor-implemented method also includes determining one or more corresponding target functions of the undisplayed interface based on the selected element, executing the one or more corresponding target functions via the one or more software hooks, and displaying one or more changes to the displayed graphical user interface based on the execution of the one or more corresponding target functions.
Abstract: A method for application protection is applicable to the field of computer technologies and includes: detecting an operation state of a target application; terminating the target application to implement protection of the target application in response to detecting that the target application is in a target state. When the application is operated, an operating state of the application is detected in real time, and an operation of the application will be terminated once it is detected that the application is in the target state. A risk in the application may be detected in time, so that the application may be protected in time.

Abstract: Multi-site distributed storage systems and computer-implemented methods are described for improving a resumption time of input/output (I/O) operations during a common snapshot procedure for storage objects. A computer-implemented method includes initiating a snapshot multi create operation to selectively form a batch of first and second synchronous replicated datasets that belong to a first group of storage disks at the primary storage site and corresponding second group of storage disks at the secondary storage site, performing a batch snapshot create operation on the primary storage site by executing snapshots of storage objects on the primary storage site of the batch of first and second synchronous replicated datasets in parallel multiple threads to effectively utilize processing resources on the primary storage site, and initiating an independent workflow and state machine for each storage object of the batch of first and second synchronous replicated datasets.
Abstract: Instead of an arbitration over the link not considering bursts, a smart scheduler in a solid state drive (SSD) host interface is burst aware. The scheduler considers the type of transactions that are going to be sent over the interface. The scheduler sends the transactions in the most efficient way while maximizing the efficiency over the host DRAM. The schedulers may be calibrated from time to time on-the-fly to find the optimal configurations adapted to the current workload. The scheduler will organize the packets selected by the arbitration module so that the data transfers are sent in a burst of a predetermined sized to the host for optimum performance. For further optimization other packet types are sent in bursts as well.
Abstract: A nucleic acid structural analysis method includes: an HAD-MSn analysis step (101) of introducing a hydrogen radical into a space in which an ion derived from a test nucleic acid is present to perform dissociation of the ion, and performing mass spectrometry on a plurality of fragment ions generated by the dissociation to collect m/z information on the plurality of fragment ions; and a structure estimation step (103) of estimating a structure of the test nucleic acid on a basis of the m/z information on the plurality of fragment ions obtained in the HAD-MSn analysis step. This makes it possible to deal with precursor ions having various charges, and makes it easier to perform the structure estimation of the nucleic acid based on the mass spectrum.

Abstract: Described herein are electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) systems and methods that facilitate the allocation of a single stimulus generator across a number of electrolyzer stacks, each comprising a set of electrochemical cells. By distributing a stimulus signal, impedance data of the cells in each electrolyzer stack may be measured, e.g., to evaluate their condition or the condition of the stack without the need for separate stimulus blocks for each electrolyzer stack. In various embodiments, sharing the stimulus generator is enabled by sequentially directing stimulus signals to different stacks. The resulting response signals, indicative of the impedance of cells or entire stacks, are processed locally at each respective electrolyzer stack. Advantageously, the stimulus generator may be remotely located, e.g., at a location that is subject to less stringent safety measures, thereby lowering both equipment and operational expenses.
