Abstract: A vortex extraction apparatus includes: a first numerical data calculation section calculating, for each vertex of each of voxels into which the inside of a fluid space is split, first numerical data indicating whether the vertex is located inside or outside a vortex region in a fluid; and a text data creation section determining the size of the vortex region around a center line of the vortex based on the first numerical data, and creating text data indicating the center line and the size. Abstract: A wireless mesh network system generates at least one virtual node within a transmission area of a specific mesh node when no mesh nodes exist in two or three continuous quadrants within the transmission area with reference to the specific mesh node. Also, the system performs routing by combining uplink and downlink routing methods so as to support unicast between the mesh nodes in a domain. Further, a channel access order of the mesh nodes is determined based on the potential values allocated to the mesh nodes forming the wireless mesh network according to the field theory. In this instance, the channel access order can be established by a central control method by a central processor for controlling the wireless mesh network or a distributed control method using contention per mesh node.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for inducing embryonic stem cell differentiation comprising a MEK/ERK (mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase/extracellular regulated kinase) signal transduction inhibitor and BMP (bone morphogenetic protein), and a method for inducing differentiation of embryonic stem cells into mesodermal cells using the same. Further, the mesodermal cells obtained by the above method are able to differentiate into various mesenchymal tissue cells. In particular, the present invention relates to a method for inducing differentiation into hemangioblast by culturing the mesodermal cells obtained by the above method in the presence of VEGF (vascular endothelial cell growth factor) and bFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor). The differentiated hemangioblasts can be further differentiated into vascular endothelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells, and hematopoietic stem cells under various culture conditions.

Abstract: A tunnel excavation technique using a water jet. A water jet system includes a moving unit movable back and forth with respect to an area to be blasted for tunnel excavation, an articulated robot arm mounted on the moving unit, a water jet nozzle which ejects high-pressure water and an abrasive toward an area to be excavated, and a control unit which controls the moving unit, the articulated robot arm and the water jet nozzle. A free face having a predetermined depth is formed of the area to be excavated in the direction in which the tunnel is to be excavated using the water jet system. Since the blasting is performed after the free face is formed, blast vibration can be effectively restricted.
