  • Patent number: 12293485
Abstract: A first frame of a video stream rendered at a first resolution is obtained. A second frame of the video stream upscaled to a second higher resolution is also obtained. The first plurality of pixels is upscaled to the second resolution. The upsampling generates upsampled color data for the upsampled first plurality of pixels. The upsampled color data is accumulated with a second set of color data associated with a second plurality of pixels defining the second frame to generate final color data for the upsampled first plurality of pixels. Color data of the second set of color data associated with a pixel lock contributes more to the final color data than corresponding color data of the upsampled color data. The upsampled first plurality of pixels is stored with the final color data as an upscaled frame representing the first frame at the second resolution.

  • Patent number: 12294212
Abstract: This disclosure describes a non-dissipative snubber circuit configured to boost a voltage applied to a load after the load's impedance rises rapidly. The voltage boost can thereby cause more rapid current ramping after a decrease in power delivery to the load which results from the load impedance rise. In particular, the snubber can comprise a combination of a capacitive element, two inductive elements, and three switches, where a duty cycle of two of the three switches controls the voltage boost. The snubber can be arranged between a DC power supply and a switching circuit configured to generate a pulsed waveform for provision to the load.

  • Publication number: 20250141229
Abstract: A method and system for regulating power consumption on an electric power grid is disclosed. Blockchain miners are used as a load bank that can be modulated quickly to accommodate spikes or dips in power generated from wind and solar power producers. The cryptocurrency generated by the blockchain miners allows electric grid owners to recoup the costs of higher overall power production, and accommodates fluctuations that are characteristic of wind and solar power generation devices because the fluctuations from wind and solar devices can be matched by modulating the computational speed of the blockchain miners in equal amounts, thus matching the overall demand and production of the power on the electric grid.
