Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrostatic dissipative thermoplastic polyurethane composition made by reacting (a) at least one polyester polyol intermediate with (b) at least one diisocyanate and (c) at least one chain extender. The polyester polyol intermediate, may be derived from at least one dialkylene glycol and at least one dicarboxylic acid, or an ester or anhydride thereof. The invention further provides for methods of making said thermoplastic polyurethane composition, polymer blends containing said thermoplastic and polymer articles made from said thermoplastic.

Abstract: In embodiments of the present invention, an Alert Controller coupled to an Internal Digital Communication System (“IDCS”) of a vehicle monitors vehicle states based on messages received over the IDCS and generates audio alerts projected external to the vehicle based on the vehicle states. Multiple vehicle states may be defined, with each vehicle state associated with receipt of one or more types of messages in a particular sequence and/or within a particular timeframe. Different audio alerts may be assigned to different vehicle states. The audio alerts may be customizable such as by the vehicle manufacturer and/or vehicle owner/operator. An alert selection interface may be provided in the vehicle for user-selection of audio alerts.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biodegradable microbead having improved adsorptive power to anticancer drugs, to a method for preparing same, and to a method for treating cancer using same. According to the present invention, a rigid bead having excellent adsorptive power to anticancer drugs can be prepared through cross-linking and an amide bond between an albumin and an anionic polymer. Also, the microbead of the present invention is prepared by a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer so as to be safe when applied to the human body. Further, the microbead of the present invention can effectively inhibit the growth of a tumor by effectively blocking a blood vessel which supplies nutrients to a liver tumor, while continuously releasing anticancer drugs which are adsorbed into the surface of the bead. Thus, the present invention can be usefully applied to a chemoembolization of liver cancer.

Abstract: A thermoplastic resin composition for automotive interior components and a molded article using the same. Abstract: A system and method for using an operation (op) cache is disclosed. The system and method include an op cache for caching previously decoded instructions. Abstract: A gate drive circuit includes a lower limit clamping circuit, an upper limit clamping circuit, and an averaging circuit. The lower limit clamping circuit clamps the input node of a transistor at a minimum voltage with respect to the common node of the transistor, while the upper limit clamping circuit clamps the input node of the transistor at a maximum voltage with respect to the common node of the transistor and the averaging circuit sets the average voltage of the input node with respect to the common node over a specified period of time. The transistor including a common node, an output node and an input node receives the input signal. Controlling the upper limit, lower limit and average value in conjunction with fast transitions between the lower and upper limits controls the duty cycle of the input signal.

Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for multiplexer tree (muxtree) indexing. Muxtree indexing performs hashing and row reduction in parallel by use of each select bit only once in a particular path of the muxtree. The muxtree indexing generates a different final index as compared to conventional hashed indexing but still results in a fair hash, where all table entries get used with equal distribution with uniformly random selects.
Abstract: A data processing system includes a processor and a cache controller coupled to the processor, and adapted to be coupled to a memory. The cache controller uses the memory to form a pseudo direct mapped cache having a plurality of groups of pages. Abstract: Techniques for allowing cache access returns out of order are disclosed. A return ordering queue exists for each of several cache access types and stores outstanding cache accesses in the order in which those accesses were made. When a cache access request for a particular type is at the head of the return ordering queue for that type and the cache access is available for return to the wavefront that made that access, the cache system returns the cache access to the wavefront. Thus, cache accesses can be returned out of order with respect to cache accesses of different types. Allowing out-of-order returns can help to improve latency, for example in the situation where a relatively low-latency access type (e.g., a read) is issued after a relatively high-latency access type (e.g., a texture sampler operation).
Abstract: Techniques for removing or identifying overlapping fragments in a fragment stream after z-culling are disclosed. The techniques include maintaining a first-in-first-out buffer that stores post-z-cull fragments. Each time a new fragment is received at the buffer, the screen position of the fragment is checked against all other fragments in the buffer. If the screen position of the fragment matches the screen position of a fragment in the buffer, then the fragment in the buffer is removed or marked as overlapping. If the screen position of the fragment does not match the screen position of any fragment in the buffer, then no modification is performed to fragments already in the buffer. In either case, he fragment is added to the buffer. The contents of the buffer are transmitted to the pixel shader for pixel shading at a later time.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a porous silicon-silicon oxide-carbon composite comprising a silicon oxide-carbon structure and silicon particles, wherein the silicon oxide-carbon structure comprises a plurality of micropores, and the silicon particles are uniformly distributed in the silicon oxide-carbon structure. The porous silicon-silicon oxide-carbon composite of the present invention shows decreased volume expansion due to the intercalation of lithium ions and improved electric conductivity, and has a porous structure. Accordingly, an electrolyte easily penetrates into the porous structure, and output properties may be improved.
