Abstract: A method is provided for fabricating a surface protection film that has no rolling defects such as blocking or wrinkling when rolled into a roll, and that, after the film is bonded to an adherend, is rolled into a roll, and stored for long periods of time, does not transfer unevenness or fisheyes on the back surface to the adherend. The surface protection film is fabricated as an elastomer by setting the arithmetical mean roughness (Ra) of the surface of a cold roller (4) to no more than 0.2 ?m, and the ten point mean roughness (Rz) of the surface of a nip roller (3) to 2-8 ?m and the mean distance (Sm) between protrusions and depressions thereof to no more than 90 ?m.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of quantifying a lean tissue volume comprising the steps of acquiring (10) a acquired image as a water-fat separated magnetic resonance image, wherein the acquired image comprises a water image and a fat image, providing (20) a calibrated fat image (F), providing (30) a soft tissue mask (STM) defining areas of soft tissue in the acquired image, and defining (40) a region of interest (ROI) of the acquired image. The method further comprises a step of calculating (50) a lean tissue volume (LTV) by multiplying, for each volume element in the region of interest, the soft tissue mask with the volume (Vvox) of each volume element and the result of one minus the calibrated fat image, and summarizing the products of said multiplications for all volume elements in the region of interest.

Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomer composition of the present invention comprises (A) 30 to 40% by weight of a block terpolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and alkene or a conjugated diene-based compound; (B) 25 to 50% by weight of a paraffin oil; (C) 1 to 5% by weight of a polyolefin-based resin; (D) 5 to 20% by weight of an inorganic additive; and (E) 5 to 15% by weight of a polyphenylene ether-based resin. The thermoplastic elastomer composition, which has a surface hardness of 0.1 to 40 A (shore A), shows excellent low hardness and has improved physical properties at high temperature, particularly, flexibility, restoring force at high temperatures, and the like.

Abstract: A system and method for efficiently performing data allocation in a cache memory are described. A lookup is performed in a cache responsive to detecting an access request. If the targeted data is found in the cache and the targeted data is of a no allocate data type indicating the targeted data is not expected to be reused, then the targeted data is read from the cache without updating cache replacement policy information for the targeted data responsive to the access. If the lookup results in a miss, the targeted data is prevented from being allocated in the cache.
