Abstract: Systems and methods for preventing web services from using sensitive data in customizing web pages for a user. In one embodiment, a protection system is implemented between the user and the web service. The protection system identifies past interactions of the user with the web service, identifies text in the past interactions between the user and the web service, and identifies subjects discussed in the text. The protection system then communicates with the user to determine which of the subjects are sensitive to the user, and deletes a history stored by the web service for the user that relates to the sensitive subjects.

Abstract: Various exemplary embodiments relate to a method and related device including: receiving, at the service correlator device, an incoming notification that an operational state of a first service element of a cloud service has changed; identifying a potential change to a second service element of the cloud service having a current operational state that is inconsistent with the operational state of the first service element, wherein effecting the potential change to the second service element would produce a new operational state of the second service element that is consistent with the operational state of the first service element; determining whether to notify other devices of the potential change to the second service element; and transmitting an outgoing notification to a management device responsible for managing the second service element based on determining to notify other devices, wherein the outgoing notification indicates the potential change to the management device.
Abstract: A technique for reducing interference in a GPS-equipped wireless device having a transmitter is provided. In doing so, a GPS signal is acquired, and it is determined whether the GPS signal contains valid GPS data, the GPS signal having a GPS frequency range. If the GPS data is not valid due to the noted second harmonic interference, the transmit power levels of the transmitter within different categories of frequency blocks (frequency blocks corresponding to the second harmonic of the transmit frequency of the device interfering with the GPS frequency range entirely, partially and only slightly) are selectively and iteratively determined. The power levels in these frequency blocks are iteratively and selectively reduced to help determine valid GPS data.
Abstract: In an embodiment, there is provided a method for the support of IP connections for a User Equipment UE having access to a 3GPP Core Network CN via at least a trusted non-3GPP Access Network AN that does not support Layer 2 signalling and bearer per IP connection, said method comprising: —providing that traffic carried by an IP connection is tunnelled over said AN, through a Layer-2 tunnel associated with said IP connection.

Abstract: A delay measurement method of a path (P) or path segment through a transport network and a corresponding network nodes (NE1, NE2) for performing the delay measurement are described, which provide a higher precision and lower jitter. An originating network node (NE1) inserts a delay measurement request signal (REQ) into an overhead subfield of a first data unit and transmits the first data unit over the path (P) or path segment to a far-end network node (NE2) as part of framed transport signals. The far-end network node (NE2), upon detection of the delay measurement request (REQ), inserts a delay measurement reply signal (REP) into on overhead subfield of a second data unit and transmits the second data unit back to the originating network node (NE1) using framed transport signals in reverse direction. The originating network node (NE1) determines a time difference between insertion of the delay measurement request signal (REQ) and receipt of the delay measurement reply signal (REP).

Abstract: Disclosed are a method for identifying a connection, mobile station and base station. The method comprises the steps of: assigning a MS ID to the mobile station when the mobile station enters into the coverage area of the base station; and assigning a connection ID to a connection when the connection is established between the base station and the mobile station. With the proposed solution, the data overhead could be reduced due to short Connection ID instead of 16-bit CID in 802.16e, especially for VoIP traffic. In addition, due to adjustable bit-length of Connection ID, the tuple <MS ID, Connection ID> could flexibly support different numbers of connections while keeping overhead in minimal.
