  • Publication number: 20090035579
Abstract: The invention relates to solid particles and to a method for the production thereof from a flowable starting material and a solid part, wherein the flowable starting material is split into droplets which are introduced along a trajectory into a solidification liquid in which they are solidified in the form of the solid particles. The invention is characterized by the use of solidification liquid and, if the flowable starting material contains actinide oxide, the solidification liquid steadily flows, thereby making it possible to produce solid particles having a greater sphericity and a narrow particle sized distribution.

  • Patent number: 7482267
Abstract: A spin on glass SOG layer 30 is formed, then a PECVD barrier layer 40 over the SOG layer. Holes 50 in the SOG layer for vias are formed with a wine glass profile, so that in a peripheral region around the periphery of the holes, the barrier layer is thinner or absent, and ion implantation is performed substantially perpendicular to the layers, to reach the SOG layer through the barrier layer preferentially in the peripheral region. This enables the implantation to be concentrated on the peripheral region, without the need for implantation at a high angle and wafer rotation. This enables the manufacturing process to be simplified and hence costs reduced. By concentrating the implantation in the peripheral region where it can reduce moisture transfer to material in the holes, there is less risk of deplanarization due to the SOG shrinkage associated with ion implantation.

  • Patent number: 7463013
Abstract: A regulated mirror current source circuit has an output transistor, a regulator for controlling the output circuit, and a current mirror having two or more current paths. The first path of the mirror is coupled in series with a current path of the output circuit, and the second path is coupled to the regulator, to provide feedback. The feedback can provide better precision, or reduced component area. The circuit can include cascode transistors, and the regulator can have integral control. The output transistor gate-source voltage is overdriven to reduce “on” resistance of the output transistor. When the output transistor is a high voltage transistor, its area can be reduced without sacrificing compliance.

  • Patent number: 7427049
Abstract: A floor track fitting for securing seating or other equipment to a section of aircraft floor track consists of a pair of substantially U-shaped cleat members and a captive bolt. The cleat members are inserted back-to-back through the holes in the floor track. Once the cleat members are in place, a cover is placed over the cleat members so that the captive bolt passes through the top of the cover. The inside of the cover has a pair of integral spaces that force the cleat members outward against the sides of the track channel holes so that the undercut portion of the cleat members locks onto the underside of the floor track. As the bolt is tightened it presses down on the cover and simultaneously draws the cleat members upward against the underside of the floor track to clamp the floor track firmly between the cleat members and the cover.

  • Publication number: 20080203602
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing duroplastic fine-fiber non-wovens, characterized in that: a) melts of reactive three-dimensionally cross-linkable, non-linear prepolymers are extruded by nozzles; b) the exiting melts are blown by means of hot air to form fine fibers; c) the fine fibers are separated by the flow of air and deposited to form a non-woven comprised of a fine-fiber weave; d) the non-woven is subsequently compacted, and; e) the non-woven is treated with a medium that initiates a three-dimensional cross-linking, and the fine fibers in the non-woven are inherently bonded and/or hardened in a subsequent thermal post-hardening. This enables duroplastic fine-fiber non-wovens to be economically produced that have both a high flame retardant effect as well as a high thermal protection, sound insulation and filtering capacity.

  • Publication number: 20080174284
Abstract: A regulator circuit receives a power supply and provides a regulated power supply output suitable for integrated circuitry. It has a controllable current source circuit, a controller and a capacitor, such that an output of the controllable current source circuit can provide a lower frequency current part of the regulated power supply output, and the capacitor can supply a higher frequency current part of the regulated power supply output. The controllable current source circuit is controlled according to feedback from the regulated power supply output, and to restrict a rate of change of the output of the controllable current source circuit. The amount of EMI noise caused by high rate of change of current in power supply lines to the regulator circuit can be reduced. This can be done more efficiently or using a smaller capacitor than known arrangements.
