Abstract: Methods and systems for citizens broadband radio service (CBRS) interference management using dual subscriber identification module (SIM) devices are described. The method includes assigning a physical cell identity (PCI) to each CBRS device (CBSD) granted unlicensed spectrum by a spectrum access system (SAS). Each spectrum granted CBSD may exchange PCIs with neighbor spectrum granted CBSDs to resolve PCIs and maintains a PCI table. A dual SIM device may be connected to a CBSD via a first SIM. Each spectrum granted CBSD having a connected dual SIM device reports a number of PCIs detected by the dual SIM device(s). A SAS designated dual SIM device may use a second SIM to measure power values of PCIs detected by the designated dual SIM device which are absent from a provided PCI table. The measured power values may be used by the SAS to make cluster interference decisions.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and a device in a node used for wireless communications. A first node receives a first signal in a first cell and receives a second signal in a second cell; and then transmits a target information set on a first channel; a serving cell identity of the first cell is a first ID, while a serving cell identity of the second cell is a second ID, the first ID being smaller than the second ID; when the second cell is capable of scheduling a target cell, a measurement on the second signal is used for generating the target information set. By associating the CSI transmission corresponding to a cell with whether the cell is capable of scheduling a PCell, the transmission of CSI under Cross-Carrier Scheduling can be optimized, thus improving the entire system's performance.

Abstract: Designs, methods, and applications for fault localization and fiber security in optical transponders is described. In one embodiment a two-way time transfer protocol or other suitable method for synchronizing clocks between distant transponders is used. The clock synchronized transponders have digital signal processing to continually detect high precision time-histories of physical layer attributes in the transmission between the two transponders. Physical layer attributes can include: state-of-polarization changes, changes in polarization-mode-dispersion, change in propagation delay, changes or loss-of-light, changes in OSNR, changes in BER between the two nodes. By recording these physical layer changes and time-stamping them information on the magnitude and estimated location of the changes can be inferred by from the time records. In one aspect the method may be used in a distributed optical sensor for monitoring trespassing events that are a risk to fiber security of an optical transmission link.
