Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for identifying highlights of a content item, and identifying times, within the content item, to indicate as a beginning of a chapter within the content item. A second content item that corresponds to a portion of the first content item may be identified. The portion of the first content item may be determined to be a highlight of the first content item. Shot boundaries of the content item may be determined, and chapter information corresponding to a different version of the content item may be mapped to the content item.

Abstract: A method and apparatus in a user equipment and a base station for narrowband communication based on a cellular network are provided. The user equipment receives first information, and then detects the first wireless signal including at least one of {a first characteristic sequence, a first reference signal, and a second information} in a first time window. The transmitter of the first wireless signal is a second node, and the transmitter of the first information and the second node are non-co-located. The first information determines at least one of {the first time window, a parameter of the first characteristic sequence, a parameter of the first reference signal}. The embodiments save power consumption of the relayed user equipment and ensure that the channel quality of the sidelink is better than the channel quality of the uplink. In addition, the embodiments utilize the first flag bit to reduce the air interface overhead.

Abstract: A television program ratings method and system includes transferring information associated with households from a cable provider to a ratings provider such that the ratings provider has access to information associated with sampled households and lacks access to information associated with non-sampled households. To this end, identity information and usage information associated with the households are respectively anonymized and encrypted. Knowledge of the identities of the sampled households enables the anonymized identity information and the encrypted usage information for the sampled households to be respectively de-anonymized and decrypted. The ratings provider knows which households are sampled households. As such, the ratings provider de-anonymizes and decrypts the information associated with the sampled households and then uses the de-anonymized and decrypted information to determine television program ratings.

Abstract: A transformer monitor, communication and data collection device features a signal processor configured to receive signaling containing information about collected data, including some combination of electrical signaling data related to electrical signaling being processed by a transformer located and arranged in a grid network and to which the apparatus is mounted, metered data related to associated electrical signaling being provided from the transformer to a building or structure in the grid network, and other wireless network data related to other wireless network communication devices/nodes/end points deployed in the grid network; and determine corresponding signaling containing information about collected data for transmitting back to a central location or other connection device for further processing, based upon the signaling received.

Abstract: A default quality of service (QoS) control method and device for solving the problem in the prior art that there is no solution for generating a default QoS rule for a NextGen network. In embodiments of the present disclosure, an SMF entity determines a target PCC rule from at least one PCC rule sent by a PCF entity; the SMF entity generates, according to the target PCC rule, a default QoS rule corresponding to a PDU session, and sends the default QoS rule to a UE. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, because the connectivity and QoS control of the PDU session are ensured, and the target PCC rule used by the SMF to generate the default QoS rule is determined by the PCF entity for a PDU session of the UE, the precise control for a specific UE and a specific PDU session is implemented, and the system performance is further improved.

The method comprises: when a terminal receives a wake-up signal and is woken up, monitoring, within a time window, a paging channel and/or a control channel in a discontinuous reception or an extended discontinuous reception manner; if the terminal receives a paging message and/or control channel scheduling information within the time window, then processing the paging message and/or processing the control channel scheduling information; and if the terminal does not receive a paging message and/or control channel scheduling information within the time window, then not monitoring the paging channel and/or control channel any more, and continuing to receive a wake-up signal. A base station sends the wake-up signal to the terminal, and sends, within a time window, information over a paging channel and/or a control channel in a discontinuous reception or an extended discontinuous reception manner.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present application are a method for reducing SGLTE coupling de-sense and a mobile terminal, the method including: filtering out an LTE network frequency band in a signal transmitted by a signal transmission end of a GSM; and filtering out a network frequency band in a signal of a signal reception end accessing the GSM other than a GSM network frequency band. Employing the present application may eliminate mutual interference between a GSM signal and an LTE signal due to the GSM network frequency band and the LTE network frequency band getting too close to each other, which greatly alleviates SGLTE mobile terminal coupling de-sense situation.
