  • Patent number: 11152084
Abstract: Techniques for coding a medical report include identifying an acronym or abbreviation in the medical report, and a plurality of phrases not explicitly included in the medical report that are possible expanded forms of the acronym or abbreviation in the medical report. From the plurality of phrases, a most likely expanded form of the acronym or abbreviation may be selected by applying to the medical report a statistical acronym/abbreviation expansion model trained on a corpus of medical reports. By applying to the medical report with the expanded acronym or abbreviation one or more statistical fact extraction models, a clinical fact may be extracted from the medical report based at least in part on the most likely expanded form of the acronym or abbreviation in the medical report, and a corresponding medical taxonomy code may be assigned to the extracted clinical fact from the medical report.

  • Patent number: 11153140
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and a device in a UE and a base station used for wireless communications. The UE first receives a first signaling, and then transmits a first radio signal; the first signaling is used for determining K REs, and K first-type complex numbers are used for generating the first radio signal, K first-type parameters respectively correspond to the K first-type complex numbers. The K first-type parameters are related to a frequency-domain position of the K REs, each of the K first-type parameters is related to a length of cyclic prefix of an RE onto which a corresponding first-type complex number is mapped; the first radio signal carries a first bit block, the K first-type parameters and the first bit block are used for generating the K first-type complex numbers. The present disclosure improves uplink coverage performance.

  • Patent number: 11153669
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for a configurable optical peering fabric to dynamically create a connection between participant sites without any physical site limitations or necessity of specialized client and network provider equipment being located within such a facility. Client sites to a network may connect to a configurable switching element to be interconnected to other client sites in response to a request to connect the first client site with a second site, also connected to network, via the switching element. A request may trigger verification of the requested and, upon validation, transmission of an instruction to the switching element to enable the cross connect within the switching element. The first site and the second site may thus be interconnected via the switching element in response to the request, without the need to co-locate equipment or to manually install a jumper between client equipment.
