  • Patent number: 10932122
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for improving user equipment (UE) beam effectiveness for a high mobility user. The system calculates at least one shift value for a UE based on a reference signal transmitted by the UE. When it is determined that the at least one shift value for the UE is greater than a predetermined threshold, the system will analyze at least past shift value. Based on this analysis, the system will predict a future shift value for the first UE beam. Then, instruction are provided for the modification of one or more of a first UE beam or a second UE beam.

  • Patent number: 10932098
Abstract: A wireless access point supports media conferencing for wireless User Equipment (UE). The wireless access point wirelessly exchanges timing signaling with the wireless UE to synchronize the wireless UE. After the wireless UE is synchronized, the wireless access point wirelessly exchanges connect signaling with the wireless UE to receive an Establishment Cause and a Wireless Network Identifier from the wireless UE. The wireless access point selects a media conferencing Mobility Management Entity (MME) when the Establishment Cause is associated with the media conferencing MME. The wireless access point selects a data MME based on the Wireless Network Identifier when the Establishment Cause is not associated with the media conferencing MME. The wireless access point exchanges network signaling with the data MME or the media conferencing MME. The wireless access point wirelessly exchanges user data with the wireless UE under control of the data MME or the media conferencing MME.

  • Patent number: 10932015
Abstract: There is provided herein a system and method for automatic configuration of data routings for use with electronic data such as phone calls, faxes, etc. In the preferred embodiment, when more than one carrier might potentially terminate the transmission, the carriers are ordered based on some screening criterion (e.g., transmission price). Data transmissions are then assigned to the carriers based on the sorting order, with the second place and lower carriers (e.g., the higher priced carriers) not being selected unless the first carrier cannot complete the transaction. The switch instructions necessary to implement this scheme are generated automatically.

  • Patent number: 10932108
Abstract: A wireless network comprises a Network Function (NF), Network Exposure Function (NEF), and Application Function (AF). The NF selects a status key. The NF hashes the status key and transfers the status hash. The NEF stores the status hash. The AF hashes an AF ID and transfers the AF ID hash. The NEF decodes the AF ID hash to authenticate and identify privileges for the AF. The NEF hashes the privileges and transfers the privilege hash to the AF. The AF decodes the privilege hash and identifies a status privilege. The AF hashes its ID and a status request and transfers the ID hash and status request hash to the NEF. The NEF decodes the NF status request hash to identify the status request and transfer the status hash to the AF. The AF decodes the NF status hash to identify the current NF status.

  • Patent number: 10930303
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for processing audio. A system configured to practice the method monitors, via a processor of a computing device, an image feed of a user interacting with the computing device and identifies an audio start event in the image feed based on face detection of the user looking at the computing device or a specific region of the computing device. The image feed can be a video stream. The audio start event can be based on a head size, orientation or distance from the computing device, eye position or direction, device orientation, mouth movement, and/or other user features. Then the system initiates processing of a received audio signal based on the audio start event. The system can also identify an audio end event in the image feed and end processing of the received audio signal based on the end event.

  • Patent number: 10931818
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing prevention of foreign initiated fraudulent or unauthorized use of calling service. In various embodiments, a computing system might receive, from a first user device associated with an originating party, a request to access a first account of a calling system and an access code. Based on a determination that the received access code is valid, the computing system might determine whether the first user device associated with the originating party is located in a foreign country. If so, the computing system might determine whether a database contains a configurable flag indicating that international access is not allowed for the first account. If so, the computing system might initiate one or more first actions. If not, the computing system might provide the first user device with access to the first account of the calling system.

  • Patent number: 10931829
Abstract: In a wireless communication network, index circuitry transfers a reference Distributed Ledger (DL) request to reference circuitry. The reference circuitry transfers a response indicating a reference DL ID to the index circuitry. The index circuitry transfers the reference DL ID to the wireless communication network. The reference circuitry receives usage data and the reference DL ID from the wireless communication network. The reference circuitry stores the usage data in reference DL blocks, generates a usage abstraction of the usage data, and transfers the reference DL ID and the usage abstraction to the index circuitry. The index circuitry stores the usage abstraction and the reference DL ID in index DL blocks. The index circuitry receives requests having the reference DL ID and returns the usage abstraction. The reference circuitry receives requests having the reference DL ID and usage abstraction ID and returns the usage data.

  • Patent number: 10928547
Abstract: A terahertz security check method and system may include: a terahertz scanning device collecting a terahertz original image of a human body under test, and sending the same to a central server that identifies the terahertz original image, and determines whether the human body under test carries an article. If so, the image is marked with the position of the article and sent to a monitoring terminal. The monitoring terminal correspondingly marking the position of the article on a pre-stored human body cartoon image, and displaying the terahertz original images before and after marking to monitoring personnel, so that the monitoring personnel determine whether the central server has an identification error; and if so, the monitoring terminal changing a marker on the human body cartoon image, and sending the changed cartoon image to a client of security check personnel for displaying.

  • Patent number: 10932176
Abstract: In a wireless access node, a baseband unit (BBU) detects a fault and responsively directs an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) Mobile Terminal (MT) to scan for a wireless IAB service. The IAB MT scans for the wireless IAB service and establishes a wireless IAB link. The BBU exchanges fault data with the IAB MT. The IAB MT wirelessly exchanges the fault data with a neighbor access node over the wireless IAB link. The BBU recovers from the fault in response to the fault data.
