Abstract: Different gestures and actions are used to interact with spreadsheets. The gestures are used in manipulating the spreadsheet and performing other actions in the spreadsheet. For example, gestures may be used to move within the spreadsheet, select data, filter, sort, drill down/up, zoom, split rows/columns, perform undo/redo actions, and the like. Sensors that are associated with a device may also be used in interacting with spreadsheets. For example, an accelerometer may be used for moving and performing operations within the spreadsheet.

Abstract: A method receives error measurements from network elements. Groups of network elements are generated based on similarity of error measurements and a bitloading profile for each of the groups of network elements is generated based on the error measurements for each respective group. Each bitloading profile includes a modulation level determined to be sufficient for transporting content to respective groups of network elements. The method then assigns a set of bitloading profiles to each network element based on the groups of network elements and the bitloading profile generated for each of the groups. The bitloading profile for each of the groups of network elements and the assigned set of bitloading profiles are output to a network device. The network device uses the bitloading profiles to modulate content sent to respective customer premise equipment.

Abstract: Techniques to improve detection and security of images, including formation and detection of matrix-based images. Some techniques include logic to process image data, generate one or more colorspaces associated with that data, and perform colorspace conversions based on the generated colorspace. The logic may be further configured to generate an image based on the colorspace conversions, including but not limited to a matrix bar code. The logic may be further configured to apply one or both of an ultraviolet layer and an infrared layer to the image, e.g. matrix barcode, generated from the colorspace conversion(s). Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for data delegation and control through the use of tokenized data are provided. In an exemplary method of data delegation and control, a data device may store private information associated with a user and generate an access token, comprising tokenized data identifying the data device. The data device may transmit the access token to a user device through a front channel and receive an information request from a merchant device comprising the access token through a secure back channel. Upon authenticating the access token, the data device may transmit a portion of the private information to the merchant device through the secure back channel.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of matching job seekers with job providers. The method may include receiving a plurality of job seeker values and a plurality of job provider values corresponding to at least one attribute. The method may further include receiving a job seeker priority associated with a job seeker value. Furthermore, the method may include receiving a job provider priority associated with a job provider value. Subsequently, matching between job seekers and job providers may be performed based on comparison between job seeker values and job provider values. Additionally, the matching may be based on a comparison of job provider priority and job seeker priority.

Abstract: A dental tray impression system, including at least one of a top denture and a bottom denture, and methods of use thereof. A top denture may include (a) a top dental impression tray including an upper trough on a palatal side and configured such that the upper trough fits adjacent to a top alveolar ridge of a patient's mouth and (b) a top tooth portion configured to removably attach to a cavity side of an anterior end of the top dental impression tray. A bottom denture may include (a) a bottom dental impression tray comprising a lower trough on a mandibular side and configured such that the lower trough fits adjacent to a bottom alveolar ridge of the patient's mouth and (b) a bottom tooth portion configured to removably attach to the cavity side of the anterior end of the bottom dental impression tray.
Abstract: Embodiments provided herein provide for customized previews of electronic documents. A template for a particular electronic document may be identified based on document attributes and/or usage parameters. The identified template may define pertinent data to be extracted from structured documents. Portions of documents, including unstructured documents can be provided as a preview such as by rendering an area of the document such as one defined in the template by coordinates or pixels. In this regard, individual users or user groups may configure what data is displayed in a document preview such as by selecting fields and/or by specifying locations of interest within the document. Users can view listings of documents and their respective previews such that the desired document may be identified without rendering complete documents.
Abstract: An earth-boring tool may comprise at least one cavity formed in a face thereof. At least one retractable pad residing in the at least one cavity may be coupled to a piston located at least partially within the at least one cavity. Additionally, a valve may be positioned within the earth-boring tool and configured to regulate flow of an incompressible fluid in contact with the piston through an opening of a reservoir. A cartridge may comprise a barrel wall defining a first bore, and a piston comprising at least one retractable pad positioned at least partially within the first bore. The barrel wall and the piston may define a first reservoir within the first bore, and a valve may be positioned and configured to regulate flow through an opening to the first reservoir. Related methods and devices are also disclosed.
Abstract: A method of optimizing online advertising campaign allocations is disclosed. It is determined that an auction for a set of advertising slots has been triggered. It is identified that the advertising campaigns are configured to bid on the set of advertising slots. A ranking score for each of the advertising campaigns is determined. The ranking scores are adjusted for each cost-per-click advertising campaign of the set of advertising campaigns by an adjustment factor specific to a context of the auction. The set of advertising slots is allocated to the winners of the auction. The winners of the auction are communicated for integration into a content page.
Abstract: A method includes receiving data corresponding one of streaming data or batch data and a content of the received data for computation. The method also includes determining an event time of the data for slicing the data, determining a processing time to output results of the received data, and emitting at least a portion of the results of the received data based on the processing time and the event time.

Abstract: An implanted device, such as an inferior vena cava filter, that is partially embedded in soft tissue is retrieved by coupling a vibration device to the implanted device. The implanted device is disembedded from the soft tissue at least in part by generating a vibration with a vibration generator, transmitting the vibration along the vibration transmission apparatus to the implanted device, and vibrating the implanted device. The implanted device is then moved away from the embedding site. A medical device assembly includes the vibration generator, the implantable device and the vibration transmission apparatus.
Abstract: A process for producing a water-soluble cellulose derivative of a reduced content of water-insoluble particles comprises the steps of a) reacting cellulose with an alkaline material to produce alkali cellulose, b) reacting the produced alkali cellulose with one or more derivatizing agents to produce a water-soluble cellulose derivative, c) washing the produced cellulose derivative with an aqueous liquid once or several times to provide a moist cellulose derivative having a water content of 25 to 85 percent, based on the total weight of the moist cellulose derivative, d) subjecting the moist cellulose derivative to homogenization to form the moist cellulose derivative to a paste, and e) pressing the paste through a filter of a pore size of up to 200 ?m.
Abstract: A PVC-based cover strip designed to bond to non-PVC materials as well as PVC materials includes a PVC layer coated with a barrier effective to prevent migration of plasticizers from the PVC layer. The barrier layer, in turn, is coated with a primer and subsequently a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The barrier layer is generally a polar polymer, such as acrylonitrile rubber which resists migration of phthalate plasticizers. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is a pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for use in roofing applications.
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying a user are disclosed. One aspect comprises providing an address element and a class identifier, receiving a request for a file, wherein the request comprises the address element and the class identifier, comparing the class identifier to a comparator element, providing a first file if the class identifier is within the comparator element, and providing a second file if the class identifier is outside the comparator element.
