Abstract: A data processing system implements a receiving a textual input comprising a query for a first image. The data processing system also implements analyzing the textual input to determine a predicted color palette associated with a subject matter of the query; and procedurally generating the first image using the predicted color palette. Another implementation of the data processing system implements providing the textual input to a first machine learning model to obtain the first image, the first machine learning model being trained using a dataset comprising abstract imagery and analyzing the textual input using the first machine learning model to obtain the first image in response to receiving the textual input.

Abstract: A wireless device receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating reception of physical downlink control channels (PDSCHs) across slots in a cell and a first and a second physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) for transmitting feedback information of the PDSCHs. The wireless device transmits feedback information of a PDSCH, of the PDSCHs, via the first PUCCH. The first PUCCH is determined, for transmitting the feedback information of the PDSCH, from the first PUCCH and the second PUCCH based on a first time gap between the PDSCH and the first PUCCH and a second time gap between the PDSCH and the second PUCCH.

Abstract: A method for representing an intended prosody in synthesized speech includes receiving a text utterance having at least one word, and selecting an utterance embedding for the text utterance. Each word in the text utterance has at least one syllable and each syllable has at least one phoneme. The utterance embedding represents an intended prosody. For each syllable, using the selected utterance embedding, the method also includes: predicting a duration of the syllable by decoding a prosodic syllable embedding for the syllable based on attention by an attention mechanism to linguistic features of each phoneme of the syllable and generating a plurality of fixed-length predicted frames based on the predicted duration for the syllable.

Abstract: This method prepares high performance lithium iron phosphate nanopowder, used in the construction of cathode material for lithium ion batteries. The preparation comprises the following steps: (a) the synthesis of iron hydrogen phosphate (FeHPO4) by mixing high purity nano-size metal iron powder (Fe) and phosphoric acid (H3PO4) in solution, (b) addition of a water-soluble lithium source and carbon source to the previous solution to yield a slurry (M?1), and (c) the (M?1) slurry being milled, spray dried, heat treated, and magnetically filtered to obtain a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder. The preparation method is simple, has low cost, and produces a high performance lithium iron phosphate nanopowder with high purity, high conductivity, cycling stability, and comprehensive electrochemical performance.

Abstract: A telecommunications cable termination box is wall mountable. An interior holds fiber optic splices, fiber optic connectors and adapters, and blown fiber tubes. The interior of the box is sealed. The box has an outer housing and an inner tray. The outer housing includes a hinged cover, snaps for holding the cover to the base, and a seal between the cover and the base, and a tray flange of the tray. Cable slack is managed in the interior to avoid sharp bends of the cables. The cable input ports and output ports are sealed by grommets. Different grommets can be provided depending on the number of cables and the cable sizes. The inner tray can hold gas block seal devices that seal the ends of the blown fiber tubes.

Abstract: A system for tuning a trajectory tracking controller for a vehicle includes a trajectory planner configured to generate the planned trajectory and to output one or more planned trajectory components representative of the planned trajectory, a model predictive controller including an internal model and an optimizer, and a tuning neural network configured to receive the one or more planned trajectory components and one or more measured trajectory components and to produce weights for a cost function. The internal model is configured to receive a predicted control input from the optimizer and the one or more measured trajectory components and to produce a predicted output. The optimizer utilizes a cost function and is configured to receive the weights for the cost function and a predicted error and to produce the predicted control input, wherein the predicted error is a selected one of the planned trajectory components minus the predicted output.

Abstract: A system and method for the analysis of log data is presented. The system uses SuperMinHash based locality sensitive hash signatures to describe the similarity between log lines. Signatures are created for incoming log lines and stored in signature indexes. Later similarity queries use those indexes to improve the query performance. The SuperMinHash algorithm uses a two staged approach to determine signature values, one stage uses a first random number to calculate the index of the signature value that is to update. The two staged approach improves the accuracy of the produced similarity estimation data for small sized signatures. The two staged approach may further be used to produce random numbers that are related, e.g. each created random number may be larger than its predecessors. This relation is used to optimize the algorithm by determining and terminating when further created random numbers have no influence on the created signature.

Abstract: Wireless offloading provides tools to a service provider to encourage or direct a subscriber to offload from a first network, e.g., a cellular network, to a second network, e.g., a Wi-Fi network. The cellular service provider can use network data to determine wireless offloading priorities for cellular subscribers on an individual or group basis. The cellular service provider may use wireless network data it has and/or wireless network data it learns about networks from the wireless devices (which may obtain Wi-Fi network data from beacon frames of Wi-Fi networks or active scanning and which may report to the cellular service provider). Each wireless device can be given scanning assignments to ensure that the reporting task is shared among subscribers or adjusted to fill in gaps in data. With the network data, the cellular service provider is capable of generating useful prioritized network lists for wireless devices, either individually or as a group.

The welding electrodes include a body that includes a weld face on a distal end of the body configured to contact a workpiece and apply an electrical current thereto. The body has a maximum diameter of 13 millimeters or less. The welding electrode includes an insulative material covering at least a portion of the body, the insulative material configured to mitigate current shunting upon contact between the insulative material and a workpiece of a workpiece stack-up while using the welding electrode to resistance weld the workpiece stack-up.

An artificial intelligence engine can review entries within the distributed ledger, identify earnings information associated with the sales of the commercial inventory, determine tax based on earning information, and pay the tax via fiat or cryptocurrency to government authorities based on earnings information.

Abstract: Disclosed is a robotic mobile support system configured to autonomously follow a subject with impaired mobility from a close but safe distance behind the subject and react to movements of the subject's torso and upper body to provide dynamic support for the subject and stop the subject from falling. The system comprises a mobile base vehicle, a robotic arm installed on the mobile base vehicle, and a LIDAR sensor for detecting the distance to a subject and the direction/speed of the subject. The robotic arm comprises one or more adjustable rear and side soft supports configured to support the subject and stop the subject from falling. The system can also comprise an onboard computer configured to process LIDAR data to control the movement of the mobile base vehicle and the robotic arm to stop the subject from falling.

Abstract: In gas hydrate inhibitor formulations used to prevent or inhibit the formation of gas hydrates in multi-phase fluids, such as hydrocarbon production fluids, conventional solvents can be largely replaced by at least one organic carbonate solvent, such as ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, and/or glycerol carbonate. The gas hydrate inhibitors in these formulations may be, but are not necessarily limited to, polyesteramides, polyvinylpyrrolidones, and the like. The use of an organic carbonate in the gas hydrate inhibitor formulation can improve the capability of the formulation for inhibiting or preventing gas hydrate formation in a multi-phase fluid.

Abstract: Liquid cleaning systems for cleaning AV sensors are disclosed herein. An example liquid cleaning system includes a reservoir storing a liquid. The liquid can flow from the reservoir to a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger can transfer heat generated by a part of the AV to the liquid, thereby improving cleaning efficacy. The part may be battery, motor, engine, sensor (e.g., the sensor to be cleaned with the liquid or another sensor), etc. The heat may be an unintended product of an operation of the part. The heat exchanger can use the heat to warm up the liquid and cool down the part. Additionally or alternatively, the liquid can be heated by another heat exchanger or a heater. The heater can generate heat intended for heating the liquid. The heater may be local to the sensor to be cleaned, e.g., the heater is closer to the sensor than the reservoir.
