Abstract: A spray diffuser for a pool cleaner is coupled to the end of the tail sweep hose which expels pressurized water out of the end of the hose. The diffuser includes a flow shaping nozzle configured to form a diverging pressurized water stream. The shaping nozzle can be attached directly to the end of the hose with a flow obstruction of the shaping nozzle immediately adjacent the flow discharge. A dissipating portion dissipates the pressurized water stream when the spray diffuser is positioned above the surface of the water to prevent water spraying out of the pool.
Abstract: A leak detection device includes a body having at least one fluid input that receives a fluid leak, at least one drain fluidly coupled with a container, and at least one sensor conduit input fluidly coupled with at least one sensor. The fluid input is located above the drain but below the sensor conduit input. The body includes an internal conduit that is fluidly coupled with and extends between the fluid input, the drain, and the sensor conduit input. The internal conduit includes a lower branch that extends below the fluid input to the drain. The internal conduit includes an upper branch that separately extends in the body above the sensor conduit input to the drain. The lower branch includes a reduced flow portion below the fluid input and the sensor conduit input but above the drain.

The die cut portion is aligned with at least one edge in a label and a front side of the liner is attached to a backside of the label. The die cut portion of the liner is adapted to be removed from the liner when the label is removed from the label-liner combination. Dimensions, and orientation, and a location of the die cut portion in the liner are adapted to allow the label to be removed from the label-liner combination and applied to a surface by digits of a hand without touching an adhesive coating on the backside of the label and adapted to maintain proper printer waste liner spool operations when the liner is wound after application of the label.
Abstract: A method of resetting a digital counter for a personal care appliance by sending an electrical output signal from an optical sensor to a control circuit. The electrical output signal is compared to a predetermined value with the control circuit or a change in the electrical output signal from the optical sensor is detected over time. A signal is sent to a consumer user interface by the control circuit based on the electrical output signal and the predetermined value or based on the change in the electrical output signal from the optical sensor. The digital counter is reset based on an input signal from the consumer user interface.

In particular, the present invention relates to multifunctional protein molecules comprising decorin and a targeting polypeptide such as an antibody and methods of their production and uses thereof.
Abstract: In a processing system, a conversion circuit coupled to a system bus generates a flow control unit (FLIT) and provides the FLIT to a link interface circuit for transmission over an external link. The external link may be a peripheral component interface (PCI) express (PCIe) link coupled to an external device comprising a cache or memory. The conversion circuit generates the FLIT, including write information based on the write instruction, metadata associated with at least one cache line, and cache line chunks, including bytes of a cache line. The cache line chunks may be chunks of one of the at least one cache line. Including the metadata in the FLIT avoids separately transmitting the at least one cache line and the metadata over the external link, which improves performance compared to generating separate transmissions. In some examples, the FLIT corresponds to a compute express link (CXL) protocol FLIT.
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for making armored cables. An example method for making an armored cable includes forming a strip stock into an armor tubing; welding a seam of the armor tubing in a welding zone; inserting at least one of a first optical fiber or a first wire into a first end of a first guide tube, wherein: the first guide tube extends through the welding zone; the first guide tube protects the at least one of the first optical fiber or the first wire during the welding of the seam; and the first guide tube is not part of the armored cable after the making of the armored cable; and supporting the first guide tube within the armor tubing by a plurality of support legs such that the first guide tube does not contact the armor tubing.

Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling navigation of an autonomous vehicle for traversing a drivable area are disclosed. The methods include receiving information relating to a drivable area that includes a plurality of polygons, identifying a plurality of logical edges that form a boundary of the drivable area, sequentially and repeatedly analyzing concavities of each the plurality of logical edges until identification of a first logical edge that has a concavity greater than a threshold, creating a first logical segment of the boundary of the drivable area. This segmentation may be repeated until each of the plurality of logical edges has been classified. The method may include creating and adding (to a map) a data representation of the drivable area that comprises an indication of the plurality of logical segments, and adding the data representation to a road network map comprising the drivable area.
Abstract: A computing system is configured to analyze historic data generated by an optimization system to provide recommended weightings for placement of creatives on publisher's pages. The weightings may be generated by providing forecasting the likelihood that a particular creative will lead to greater conversion or revenue compared to other creatives. The creatives may be grouped into one or more phases based on the amount of statistical data available for analyzing the particular creatives such that new creatives are given sufficient weighting to receive impressions despite the lack of historical data for a creative. Performance of placed creatives may be tracked by the passing of URLs with information attached to identify the particular creative and placement.

Abstract: A system for a live well fill pump fulfills the dual goals of keeping the intermittently operating fill pump primed and dissolving gasses in water sourced by the fill pump. A check valve in a water intake assembly cooperates with a check valve in a pump output assembly to keep the fill pump primed in between intermittent pumping operations. Water flowing out of the fill pump through the second check valve undergoes a pressure differential and turbulence. A gas delivery system directs the turbulent water through the output conduit or chamber to dissolve the gas in the water. The gas-saturated water is released through the water outlet into the container.
Abstract: A hole punch for forming a hole in metal or other material is provided. In some embodiments, the punch comprises a first assembly that is positioned on one side of the device to be punched and a second assembly is positioned on the other side. One of the assemblies comprises a male punch and the other comprises a female die plate. In some embodiments, rotation of a bolt causes the male punch to move through the device to be punched and into the female die plate. In some embodiments, the device to be punched is a rain gutter. In some embodiments, one or both of the first and second assemblies have magnets so that the punch can be releasably assembled with the assemblies on either side of the device to be punched.
Abstract: Example implementations relate to simulating an environment. For example, a system for environment simulation may include a simulation engine to build an environment simulation to mimic portions of a real environment relevant to a detected anomaly trend, an acceleration engine to simulate, within the environment simulation, a scenario associated with the detected anomaly at a rate faster than the scenario occurs in the real environment, a abnormal behavior engine to detect a abnormal behavior associated with the scenario, and an adaptation engine to modify a device within the real environment to be adaptive to the scenario, based on the detected abnormal behavior.

Abstract: A method and system for dynamically controlling connectivity of a user equipment device (UE) when the UE has standalone connectivity with a first access node under a first radio access technology (RAT). An example method includes the UE detecting that the UE is within threshold strong coverage of a second access node under a second RAT, and the UE making a selection between (i) responsively handing over from the first access node to the second access node and (ii) having dual-connectivity with the first access node and the second access node. Further, the example method includes the UE informing the first access node of the UE's selection, perhaps together with an inter-RAT measurement report reporting that the UE is within threshold strong coverage of the second access node, and the first access node responsively taking action in accordance with the UE's selection.
