  • Patent number: 11878391
Abstract: An automatic adjustable stroke device for a random orbital machine has a housing with a central axis and a wall defining a cavity. A counterbalance shaft assembly is rotatably disposed at least partially within the cavity. A shaft portion of the counterweight shaft assemblies aligned with the central axis. A mounting assembly is disposed at least partially within the cavity. The mounting assembly has a workpiece attachment mechanism. A stroke adjuster couples the counterweight shaft with the mounting assembly. The stroke adjuster enables the mounting assembly to adjust its stroke upon rotation of counterweight shaft. The mounting assembly variably adjusts a stroke radius of the workpiece attachment mechanism with respect to the central axis of the housing. The stroke adjuster has a gear automatically adjusting the mounting assembly stroke.

  • Patent number: 11880303
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for content cache invalidation using cache tags are provided. A first proxy hop may receive a request from a client device for a content object originating from a content source. A cache tagging script is executed to add a query parameter to the request to create a modified request. The query parameter specifies a cache tag version for the content object. The modified request is transmitted through one or more subsequent proxy hops to the content source to retrieve the content object. The content object, tagged with a cache tag specifying the cache tag version, is cached as a cached content object within a cache. The cache tag is associated with an expiration timestamp after which the cached content object is designated to be invalid.

  • Patent number: 11879697
Abstract: A mount for mounting a firearm sound suppressor or silencer to a firearm muzzle or muzzle device operates by using primary mounting lugs on the suppressor which engage sockets on the muzzle device. The primary lugs prevent the suppressor from axially moving with respect to the muzzle device, thus causing them to be fixed together as a unitary device. Angled bearing faces on the muzzle device and the sound suppressor are pressed against each other by rotating the sound suppressor on threads which drive the angled bearing faces together, thus tightening the primary lugs within their sockets. Backup lugs on the silencer engage an annular groove on the muzzle device to retain the silencer on the firearm to which it is mounted in case of failure of the primary lugs. Rapid attachment and detachment are supported by these structures.

  • Patent number: 11878712
Abstract: A computer-implement method for operating an ADV is disclosed. A first trajectory for the ADV to drive along is planned. The ADV is to autonomously drive along the first trajectory. An obstacle in an affected region of the ADV is detected based on sensor data obtained from a plurality of sensors mounted on the ADV. An expected residence time of the obstacle in the affected region is determined. Whether to plan a second trajectory or to wait for the obstacle to leave the affected region is determined based on the expected residence time of the obstacle in the affected region. A second trajectory for the ADV to drive along is planned and the ADV is to autonomously drive along the second trajectory, or the ADV is to wait for the obstacle to leave the affected region and to autonomously drive along the first trajectory afterwards.

  • Patent number: 11879033
Abstract: Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass a variety of polymers derived from polycyclic olefin monomers, such as hydrocarbon functionalized norbornenes. The polymers so formed function as ionomers and are suitable as anion exchange membrane for fabricating a variety of electrochemical devices, among others. More specifically, the ionomeric polymers used herein are derived from a variety of quaternized amino functionalized norbornene monomers and are lightly crosslinked (less than ten mol %). The membranes made therefrom exhibit very high ionic conductivity of up to 198 mS/cm at 80° C. This invention also relates to using an anion conducting solid polymer electrolyte as the ion conducting medium between the two electrodes and the ion conducting medium within the electrodes acting as the ionic conduit between electroactive material and electrolyte. The electrochemical devices made in accordance of this invention are useful as fuel cells, gas separators, and the like.

  • Patent number: 11882538
Abstract: A wireless communication network comprises a Network Exposure Function (NEF) and an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) to register a User Equipment (UE). The NEF receives a NEF Application Programming Interface (API) call that has a UE instruction. The NEF translates the NEF API call having the UE instruction into an AMF API call that has the UE instruction. The NEF transfers the AMF API call to the AMF. The AMF translates the UE instruction into a registration message that has a registration cause. The AMF transfers the registration message that has the registration cause to the UE. The UE receives the registration message, and in response, identifies networking data based on the registration cause and performs a registration based on the networking data.

  • Patent number: 11879663
Abstract: An HVAC condensate evaporation system or aerobic dispersion system may transform the condensate that drains out of HVAC systems and/or septic systems into steam that is less likely to cause property damage. The system may be installed midstream in a condensate line and condensate that flows through the condensate line in normal operation may enter the chamber where it hits a solar-powered boiler that evaporates the condensate back into the atmosphere as steam. By converting the condensate into steam, property damage due to drainage out of the condensate line of an HVAC system may be minimized, or even eliminated. The system also may include a back-up capacitor or battery for low solar days. The system may further include wireless notification capability, including, but not limited to, Wi-Fi capability, to transmit notifications to the building owner or other interested parties of condensate issues as they may arise.

  • Patent number: 11881292
Abstract: A patient case may be evaluated whenever new information is received or as scheduled. Evaluation may include resolving a Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) code and determining a CDI scoring approach based at least in part on a result from the resolving. Resolving a DRG code may include determining whether a DRG code is associated with the patient case. If no DRG code is found, the system may search for an International Classification of Diseases code or ask a user to select or assign a DRG code. Using the determined CDI scoring approach, a first score may be generated and adjusted by at least one of length of stay, documentation accuracy, payer, patient location, documentation novelty, review timing, case size, or documentation sufficiency. The adjusted score may be normalized and presented to a CDI specialist, perhaps with multiple CDI scores in a sorted order.
