  • Patent number: 11211742
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cable connector assembly that includes a differential pair cable having a pair of conductors secured to contact pads formed on a printed circuit board. A housing and cover are configured to be secured together and include a cavity for receiving the printed circuit board and the cable. A slug is formed around a portion of the cable and is in intimate contact with a shield layer of the cable. Upon assembly of the cover to the housing, the slug is disposed in the pocket with a projection formed on the plug that engages a shoulder in the pocket to maintain a rigid connection between the lug connector housing and the cable and limit the stress that can be transferred to the connection between the conductors of the cable and the printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 11212139
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices of the various embodiments may enable distributed prefix signing by publishing a public key in a Domain Name System (DNS) text record, using a private origination key to generate a signature for a new prefix announcement, including the signature in a transitive Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) attribute of the new prefix announcement, and sending the new prefix announcement to peer components. The peer components may query an address and routing parameter area (ARPA) record to obtain nameserver information for an entity associated with the received prefix announcement in response to determining that the received prefix announcement includes a transitive BGP attribute that includes the signature, retrieve a public key from a Domain Name System (DNS) text record, and determine whether the signature included in the transitive BGP attribute of the received prefix announcement is valid based on the public key retrieved from the DNS text record.

  • Patent number: 11210324
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media provide entity relation extraction across sentences in a document using distant supervision. A computing device can receive an input, such as a document comprising a plurality of sentences. The computing device can identify syntactic and/or semantic links between words in a sentence and/or between words in different sentences, and extract relationships between entities throughout the document. A knowledge base (e.g., a table, chart, database etc.) of entity relations based on the extracted relationships can be populated. An output of the populated knowledge base can be used by a classifier to identify additional relationships between entities in various documents. Machine learning can be applied to train the classifier to predict relations between entities. The classifier can be trained using known entity relations, syntactic links and/or semantic links.

  • Patent number: 11209996
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards stretching a mapped storage clusters by adding nodes to a mapped cluster of mapped nodes and storage devices mapped to a real cluster of nodes and storage devices. Stretching the mapped cluster can provide additional computing resources to a set of storage devices. In one implementation, one or more newly mapped nodes are added to increase the node count of an existing mapped cluster to form a stretched cluster, with the storage devices distributed among the increased number of nodes; a mapping table is updated to relate the stretched cluster nodes and storage devices to the real cluster nodes and storage devices. Also described is un-stretching a stretched cluster, or further stretching a stretched cluster.

  • Patent number: 11210106
Abstract: To provide a hierarchical visual paradigm while maintaining the communication advantages of sibling extensions, a visual hierarchy simulation extension generates and maintains placeholders in a visually hierarchical manner, with the visual positioning of such placeholders informing the visual positioning of overlays of frames hosting the visual output of sibling extensions. Such a visual hierarchy simulation extension is utilized to layout and establish a desired visual hierarchy. One or more modules of computer-executable instructions are invoked to provide the relevant functionality, including the obtaining of the visual positioning of placeholders, the relevant visual translation between the visual positioning of placeholders and the visual overlaying of corresponding frames, the generation and movement of the corresponding frames, and the instantiation of extension content within the corresponding frames. The visual hierarchy simulation extension is hosted independently from the one or more modules.

  • Patent number: 11208859
Abstract: A pit pump of a drilling fluid recycling system where the pit pump is driven by a liquid cooled electric drive motor that is cooled by a cooling liquid. The pit pump can stay submerged in the used drilling fluid within the pit indefinitely since the pit pump does not require cleaning to remove caked on drilling fluid to prevent overheating of the electric drive motor since the cooling liquid cools the electric drive motor. This reduces or eliminates the need to remove the pit pump from the pit for servicing. The electric drive motor can also be reversible to reverse the rotation direction of the pit pump. Further, the pit pump can include its own controller, located within the pit or outside the pit, connected to various sensors that can be used for health monitoring of the pit pump and controlling operation of the pit pump.

  • Patent number: 11212544
Abstract: An image includes a first row of largest coding units (LCUs) and a second row of LCUs that is after the first row of LCUs. Encoding the image includes determining that wavefront parallel processing is enabled, and partitioning the first row of LCUs and the second row of LCUs so as to comprise a normal slice and a group of dependent slices. The normal slice is at a position on the first row of LCUs that is not at the beginning of the first row of LCUs. The group of dependent slices includes every dependent slice that uses information from the normal slice for encoding. Based on the determination that wavefront parallel processing is enabled and the normal slice being at a position that is other than the beginning of the first row of LCUs, the partitioning of the first row of LCUs and the second row of LCUs is performed such that an entirety of the group of dependent slices is included in the first row of LCUs.
