  • Patent number: 11204873
Abstract: Pre-decompressing a compressed form of data that has been pre-fetched into a cache to facilitate subsequent retrieval of a decompressed form of the data from the cache is presented herein. A system retrieves, from a first portion of a cache, a compression chunk comprising compressed data blocks representing a compressed form of a group of data blocks in response to a first cache hit from the first portion of the cache being incurred, decompresses the compression chunk to obtain a decompressed chunk comprising uncompressed data blocks representing an uncompressed form of the group of data blocks, and inserts the uncompressed data blocks into a second portion of the cache. Further, the system retrieves, from the second portion of the cache, an uncompressed data block of the uncompressed data blocks in response to a second cache hit from the second portion of the cache being incurred.

  • Patent number: 11206513
Abstract: A geographical area of a mobile network is directed to perform an OTA test content drop of a predefined time, data, size, and duration. Statistical data is identified with respect to vehicle density in the geographical area, the statistical data being computed from reception reports received from vehicles responsive to the OTA test content drop. Responsive to at least a predefined minimum target of vehicles being located in the geographical area, and based on the statistical data, one or more time slots for an OTA delivery in the geographic area suitable for broadcast delivery are determined. The OTA update is delivered over broadcast instead of unicast during the one or more time slots.

  • Patent number: 11203218
Abstract: A redundantly printed security-enhanced document, printing method and system ensure the meaning of the information imparted by variable indicia printed by redundant printing on the document with removable scratch-off coatings. By printing the variable indicia with multiple colors, redundancy and integrity of the intended indicia is achieved. Additionally, inverted color indicia countermeasures to pinprick attacks are also disclosed. The redundantly printed document, methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the redundantly printed document, and reduce possible consequences resulting from misprinted variable indicia. The resultant printed process color indicia maintains a grayscale equivalent level of a process color greater than or equal to the measured grayscale equivalent level of the substrate surface plus an additional contrast delta of 15%.
