Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention adapt interconnect systems to apply automated rules and analytics to the Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (“AAA”) messages between providers that are handled by the interconnect system. The automated rules and analytics interpret or convert the administrative messages into a measure of technical performance of the visited network in relation to a corresponding home network provider. As part of this process, the system establishes a procedure that matches messages involving a device to be related and produces a data structure and corresponding data that is stored and reflects the performance or other salient data points. The structure of the data is set of extracted and calculated data that is derived from the messages and is assembled to reflect operation at the level of each administrative messaging session, involving a request to the home network provider to join a visited network.

The light guide luminaire module includes at least one light-emitting element (LEE) (510), a light guide (511) arranged to receive light emitted by the at least one LEE at a first end of the light guide and guide the received light in a forward direction to a second end thereof, and an extractor (512) arranged to receive light from the second end of the light guide and configured to output light. The light guide luminaire module is disposed relative to the plant support such that at least a portion of the light output by the extractor impinges on the plants in predetermined directions.

Abstract: Methods of making a composite article, such as a motor housing, are provided herein. The method can include applying a resin-fiber material to a shaped surface to form an intermediate article. The resin-fiber material includes an uncured resin composition and a fiber substrate material. The method further includes solidifying the uncured resin composition present in the intermediate article to form the composite article. Solidifying can be accomplished by applying heat to the intermediate article to initiate an exothermic reaction comprising polymerization, cross-linking, or both of the uncured resin composition. Application of the heat from the heat source can be ceased after initiation of the exothermic reaction, but polymerization, cross-linking or both of remaining uncured resin composition can continue in one or more of a radial, circumferential, or axial direction through a thickness of the resin-fiber material in the absence of heat from the heat source to form the composite article.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for pinpointing a restriction in a vehicle evaporative emissions system which may adversely impact refueling and/or fuel vapor canister purging operations. In one example a method comprises conducting a diagnostic to identify a location of a restriction based on a rise time at which a pressure in a fuel system of a vehicle rises to a threshold pressure during a refueling event where fuel is added to the fuel system. In this way, a location of the restriction may be identified so as to enable appropriate mitigating action to be taken.

Abstract: A positioning apparatus for a transmission jack saddle is provided in which a first arm has a pivot joint that allows an angle between a first arm and a second arm to be adjusted and each arm further defining an edge wall having ratchet teeth that allows movement and securement using a locking pawl mechanism.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for managing data in a storage device, such as a solid-state drive (SSD). In some embodiments, a first read command from a command queue is forwarded to a non-volatile memory (NVM) to request retrieval of a first set of readback data. While the NVM initiates in-process execution of the first read command, an expanded read command is issued to the NVM. The expanded read command supercedes the first read command and requests an expanded set of readback data that includes the first set of readback data as well as a second set of readback data. The second set of readback data may be associated with a second read command in the command queue. The NVM transfers the expanded set of readback data to a read buffer responsive to the expanded read command. The first and second read commands may be client reads, background reads or both.

Abstract: A downhole acoustic transmitter has a piezoelectric transducer, an enclosure in which the piezoelectric transducer is housed, a transducer preload means which applies a selected compressive force against the transducer such that a mechanical preload is applied to the transducer, and an acoustic tuning element which has a first end coupled to the transducer preload means or the transducer, and an open second end. The acoustic tuning element is not coupled to anything but the transducer preload means or transducer, so the transducer preload means effectively has a second open end and thus can maintain the same preload compressive force on the transducer even when the transmitter is subjected to tension and compressive forces during operation.

Abstract: In an example, a method comprises determining, based on a set of metadata items to be stored, a first sequence and a second sequence, wherein the first sequence and the second sequence each include a plurality of key-value pairs, each key-value pair including a metadata item from the set of metadata items and a keyword corresponding to the metadata item in the set. The method also comprises causing a first co-routine to utilize available computing resources to process the first sequence. The method further comprises in response to an amount of computing resources available for the first co-routine to process the first sequence being below a first threshold, causing a second co-routine to process the second sequence, wherein the second co-routine is different from the first co-routine. This method can increase the utilization rate of the processor and more rapidly stores the metadata into the external storage device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for unsticking intake and exhaust valves of an engine are described. In one example, valves that may be adjustably timed relative to an engine crankshaft position may be adjusted to unstick intake and/or exhaust valve that are stuck open or closed. In addition, fuel injection timing and spark timing may be adjusted in an effort to unstick intake and/or exhaust valves.

Abstract: Systems and methods for allowing an orchestrator to manage screen sharing in a meeting between multiple user devices are described. The orchestrator can use a master device to start a sharing session and select user devices to join as participant devices. The orchestrator can also select at least one receiver for receiving shared media. Participant devices are displayed on the master device. The orchestrator can then select a participant device to act as a source, and a receiver to receive the shared media from the source. The master device can contact a management server to cause the selected participant device to being sharing its screen on the receiver.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a portable bioelectrochemical electrical signal measuring device that may have at least one anode, at least one cathode, an anode-cathode connector between said at least one anode and said at least one cathode, a load connector between a load and said at least one anode and at least one cathode, and a data meter connected to said load connector wherein the device may measure an electrical signal of a matrix to perhaps determine the microbial activity in the matrix.

Abstract: An injector system for injecting fluid includes a syringe and an injector. The syringe includes a body and a plunger movably disposed within the body. The plunger has at least one flexible leg extending toward the rearward end of the body. The injector has a housing with a front plate, a drive member at least partially disposed within the housing and operable to engage the plunger, and a syringe release assembly operable to release the syringe. The syringe assembly includes a syringe release gear that forms an enclosure for receiving the syringe when the syringe is fully seated within the housing and a plunger release tube surrounding at least a portion of the drive member. The plunger release tube has a first end rotationally engaged with the syringe release gear. Rotation of the syringe release assembly releases the at least one flexible leg from the drive member.

Abstract: Anomalous sequences are detected by approximating user sessions with heuristically extracted event sequences, allowing behavior analysis even without user identification or session identifiers. Extraction delimiters may include event count or event timing constraints. Event sequences extracted from logs or other event lists are vectorized and embedded in a vector space. A machine learning model similarity function measures anomalousness of a candidate sequence relative to a specified history, thus computing an anomaly score. Restrictions may be placed on the history to focus on a particular IP address or time frame, without retraining the model. Anomalous sequences may generate alerts, prompt investigations by security personnel, trigger automatic mitigation, trigger automatic acceptance, trigger tool configuration actions, or result in other cybersecurity actions.

Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for a fuel injector. In one example, a fuel injector includes a nozzle tip including a plurality of injection holes, a first needle biased against the nozzle tip via a first biasing member positioned within a first control volume, and a second needle surrounding a portion of the first needle and biased against the first needle and the nozzle tip via a second biasing member positioned within a second control volume. A needle actuator may be energized for different durations of time in order to move one or more of the first needle and the second needle relative to the nozzle tip.

Abstract: A portable davit includes a base having a mounting portion and a housing. The housing defines a cavity. An end of a mast is positioned within the cavity. A jib is coupled to another end of the mast. A connector is coupled to the jib. A hoist is coupled to a platform and includes a drive and a rope. An end of the rope is wound about the drive. Another end of the rope is coupled to the connector. The drive is configured to rotate relative to the platform in a first direction to decrease a distance between the platform and an end of the jib and to rotate relative to the platform in an opposite second direction to increase the distance between the platform and an end of the jib. Systems and methods of use are provided.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing an environment in which data (e.g., analytical data received from third parties) may be normalized prior to use and in which users may be authenticated prior to transmitting sensitive information in a request to the feature registry. The system and methods for hyperlinking user-specific content on a website or mobile application. The system may receive a user selection of the hyperlinked content. In response to the user selection, the system may access a feature registry application, wherein the feature registry application transmits a feature registry request to a feature registry, and wherein the feature registry request includes the identity of the user, information from the user profile, and a description of the hyperlinked content.
