Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein improve existing systems by automatically identifying tasks from a number of different types of user activity and providing suggestions for the tasks to one or more selected delivery mechanisms. A system compiles the tasks and pushes each task to a personalized task list of a user. The delivery of each task may be based on any suitable user activity, which may include communication between one or more users or a user's interaction with a particular file or a system. The system can identify timelines, performance parameters, and other related contextual data associated with the task. The system can identify a delivery schedule for the task to optimize the effectiveness of the delivery of the task. The system can also provide smart notifications. When a task conflicts with a person's calendar, the system can resolve scheduling conflicts based on priorities of a calendar event.

Abstract: The method and apparatus for protecting the printhead heating elements in a thermal printer includes preparing the printer for label dispensing and then covering the printhead heating elements such that the label run or thermal material passing over the same does not contact the printhead heating elements. The cover for the printhead heating elements can take various forms. In one implementation, the cover is a sleeve configured to fit over the entire printhead assembly of the thermal printer. In another implementation, the cover is a shim placed between the printhead and a label run path. The printhead cover has a low coefficient of friction.
Abstract: Restore operations in containerized environments are disclosed. An ephemeral instance of an application is created and a datastore is mounted to the ephemeral instance. The ephemeral instance is not accessible to users or application. The backup data is restored to the datastore. Once restored, the datastore is then mounted to a production instance and production resumes.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a device and method of dividing current among LED arrays is described. Each array has a sense resistor to sense a voltage of a current channel associated with the array. An analog or digital computational circuit with an op-amp and parallel RC circuit or microprocessor compares the voltages of the sense resistors and controls switches of the arrays accordingly. The analog circuit charges or discharges the capacitor to alter the output voltage used to control the switches. The microprocessor determines a ratio of the sensed voltages to generate the output voltage, maps a control signal to the ratio, directs input current to one or the other channel dependent on the control signal voltage and otherwise scales the input current between the channels. Other apparatuses, devices, and methods are described as well.
Abstract: An inspiratory resistor valve system (IRV) to regulate intrathoracic pressure during positive pressure breathing, spontaneous inspirations, and CPR may include an inspiratory port. The IRV system may include patient port. The IRV system may include a separate expiratory port. The IRV may include a plurality of atmospheric pressure sensitive valves. The plurality of atmospheric pressure sensitive valves may isolate the expiratory port and the inspiratory port from one another.
Abstract: Aspects and embodiments of the present invention generally include a device for patient self-administration of a prescribed medication. The total quantity of doses to be contained in the device, the quantity of prescribed medication comprising each individual dose, and the dosing schedule, collectively referred to as prescription parameters, are determined and controlled solely by a health care provider (HCP) such as the patient's physician. In accordance with a prescribed dosing schedule, the device makes available for administration the precise quantity of prescribed medication constituting an individual dose.

Abstract: Systems and methods for the display and navigation of a social network or set forth. According to one embodiment a method comprising identifying a first profile in a social network, identifying associated profiles associated with the first profile, ranking the associated profiles, wherein ranking is not based exclusively on a degree of separation, and outputting the associated profiles based at least in part on the ranking is set forth. According to another embodiment a method comprising identifying a user profile, identifying a member profile, determining an association path for the user profile and the member profile, and outputting the association path is set forth.
Abstract: Solid dispersions of lurasidone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are described, as well as pharmaceutical formulations thereof, and methods for making such formulations. Preferably, the solid dispersions are prepared by hot-melt extrusion or spray-drying, and comprise lurasidone with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier (e.g., hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose acetate succinate (HPMC-AS), polyvinyl pyrrolidine vinyl acetate (PVP/VA) copolymer, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate (HPMCP), or mixtures thereof). The pharmaceutical composition may be orally administered to a patient in either the fed or fasted state, with a decrease or elimination of the food effect. Preferably, following oral administration of the pharmaceutical compositions, there is no substantial difference in the pharmacokinetic parameters (e.g., Tmax, Cmax, AUC0-t and/or AUC0-infinity) of lurasidone, regardless of whether the pharmaceutical compositions are administered to a subject in the fed or fasted state.

Abstract: An enhanced operating method and an integrated tube-trailers and stationary ground storage system are provided for implementing enhanced pressure consolidation operations for refueling gaseous fuels. The integrated tube-trailers and stationary ground storage system includes gaseous fuel supply tube-trailers and stationary ground storage including at least one or more stationary pressure vessels. A compressor can be supplied by both the stationary ground storage and the tube-trailers. The stationary ground storage can provide higher pressure to the compressor than the tube-trailers, enabling enhanced compressor throughput during refueling operation, and enhanced utilization of tube-trailers payload.
Abstract: Systems and methods for rebuilding an index for a flash cache are provided. The index is rebuilt by reading headers of containers stored in the cache and inserting information from the headers into the index. The index is enabled while being rebuild such that lookup operations can be performed using the index even when the index is incomplete. New containers can be inserted into used or unused regions of the cache while the index is being rebuilt.
Abstract: According to some embodiments, an ADV includes a method to plan a path trajectory. The method initializes a path length to a initial path length and performs a path planning operation using the initial path length. The method determines if the path planning operation successfully generates the path trajectory. If the path trajectory fails to be successfully generated, the method determines a reason for the failure. If the path trajectory fails to be generated for reasons other than an obstacle blocking the vehicle, the method defaults the path trajectory to a backup path. If the path trajectory fails to be generated due to an obstacle blocking the vehicle, the method reduces the path length by an incremental amount to generate a reduced path length. The method performs the path planning operation using the reduced path length until a path trajectory is successfully generated or until a stop condition is reached.

Abstract: Methods and compositions for simulating a dermal compartment of skin are disclosed. In one aspect of the invention, methods of producing such a skin model include the steps of admixing a collagenous protein source, a blood protein source, and dermal cells in an aqueous carrier, and then allowing the resulting mixture to solidify to produce a gel. In one technique, at least a portion of the mixture, e.g., the collagenous protein source is first heated and then cooled to induce gelation. For example, the mixture can be heated to at least 50 degrees C. and then cooled to temperature below 5 degrees C. to induce gelation.
Abstract: In one aspect of the present exercise machine, an assembly is attached to the end of a reformer, where the assembly comprises a seat mechanism and a pedal mechanism. The seat mechanism has a seat, a bracket supporting the seat, and a height adjustment system, where activation of the height adjustment system permits selective adjustment and locking of the height of the seat and the bracket by restricting travel of the seat and bracket to a slanted path that is slanted relative to the vertical. The pedal mechanism has an axle, a first pedal arm with a first pedal, and a second pedal arm with a second pedal. The pedal mechanism is located directly beneath the seat when the seat mechanism is in a lowest position and partially exposed in a higher position.
