Abstract: An electronic system and method of operating electronic software applications such as spreadsheets provides help with formulas and other software functions. The system provides the user with a list of model examples upon request, and responds to a user selection of a model by creating both a model formula or control and model data upon which the formula or control is calculated or may act. The model is editable by the user, so that they may better understand the function being illustrated and use it with their own data.

Abstract: Ladders and ladder components are described herein, including multipurpose and adjustable ladders. In one embodiment, a ladder includes a first assembly having rails and rungs, a second assembly having rails and rungs, and one or more hinges coupling the first and second assemblies together such that the first and second assembly may be positioned relative to one another in at least a position or state and at least a second position or state. The ladder is adjustable by moving a pin from a locked state in which it is located in a recess or slot of the hinges and prevents rotation of the hinges to an unlocked state in which it is removed from the recess or slot. Multiple joints can be simultaneously transitioned between locked and unlocked states using a releaser to move the pin, and a spring can bias the pin into a locked state.

Abstract: A process and system provides for atraumatic preparation of morselized Tissue Particles (TP)s, such as Full Thickness Skin Graft Particles (FTSGPs), cartilage particles and other organ tissue particles, in a liquid medium. The resultant tissue product may be a suspension of Tissue Particles in an aqueous solution and containing highly viable cells and may be rapidly prepared at bedside or in the operating room and conveniently delivered to a patient through a syringe or similar applicator. The morselized Tissues Particles may be used for surgical applications including wound healing, cosmetic surgery, and orthopedic cartilage repairs.

Abstract: Passenger restraint systems are provided. The restraint systems can include: a passenger seat supported by a frame; a restraint bar pivotably attached to the frame; and at least one piston operably engaged between the restraint bar and the frame. Restraint system pistons are provided. The pistons can include: a central chamber housing a piston head and rod; a fluid reservoir in fluid communication with the central chamber; and at least one electromechanical valve operable between an open and a closed position. Methods for restraining a passenger within a seat are also provided.

Abstract: A fleet refueling silo tank system gravity feeds fuel through hoses to fleet units without requiring pressurizing pumps. Specialized valves at the fleet unit fuel tanks prevent vapor escape and admit fuel at low, gravity fed pressures. The cylindrical silo tank includes an upper, gravity feed dispensing chamber and a lower reservoir chamber. A fuel pump doubles as means for moving fuel from the reservoir chamber to the dispensing chamber and for refilling the reservoir from fuel delivery trucks. Onboard telemetry transmits fuel consumption and flow rates wirelessly to a control center where operators monitor safety parameters in real time. Stored data may be analyzed to calculate fleet unit maintenance and service intervals. A tractor trailer hauls the silo tank horizontally on roads and highways and includes a gantry and hydraulic lifts to erect the silo tank into vertical operating position supported by a built-in platform.

Abstract: An assembly for a vehicle includes a steering wheel. The assembly includes an airbag inflatable to an inflated position. The airbag has a main chamber supported by the steering wheel. The main chamber in the inflated position has a rear panel facing the steering wheel, an impact panel opposite the rear panel, and an outermost periphery between the impact panel and the rear panel. The airbag includes an extension having a first end and a terminal end. The extension extends from the first end to the terminal end adjacent the rear panel of the main chamber. The first end extends from the outermost periphery and the rear panel and the terminal end is connected to the rear panel. The airbag has an inflation chamber extending from the main chamber to the terminal end through the first end of the extension.

Abstract: Systems and methods of forming electrospun structures including pharmaceuticals are disclosed. An electrospun structure can include one or more polymers electrospun from a polymer solution comprising a pharmaceutical such that the pharmaceutical is dispersed throughout the one or more electrospun polymers. The pharmaceutical can include a cannabinoid, a phytocannabinoid, a terpene produced by a Cannabis plant, or a combination thereof. The one or more electrospun polymer are configured to degrade over a predetermined time period to deliver the pharmaceutical over the predetermined time period.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method and/or device embodiments for using a wireless mouthguard with pressure sensors for measuring bite compression forces generated by a bruxism patient during sleep. A system comprises a mouthguard and a microelectromechanical system (MEMS) coupled to a portion of the mouthguard covering an axial plane of a tooth. The MEMS comprises an antenna, a capacitive sensor, a microcontroller, and a power supply. The sensor generates sensor signals corresponding to a force generated by a mouthguard wearer's bite. The MEMS may then transmit data describing the wearer's bite force over a period of time to an external computing device for display and analysis.

Abstract: A flushing system in a drill bit is disclosed. The drill bit includes a body that defines the flushing system. The flushing system includes an inlet to facilitate supply of pressurized fluids into the bore hole. A cutting surface of the drill bit is provided with a main opening that defines a main passageway in communication with the inlet. A peripheral surface of the drill bit is provided with a secondary opening that defines a secondary passageway in communication with the inlet. The secondary passageway is disposed at an angle from a horizontal reference plane. The horizontal reference plane is defined between the inlet and the origin of the main passageway and is perpendicular to a central longitudinal axis of the body of the drill bit. An origin of the secondary passageway is at a distance from the origin of main passageway.

Abstract: An electronic device that uses an arbitrary transmit polarization is described. This electronic device includes: a first antenna having a first predefined polarization; and a second antenna having a second predefined polarization, where the second predefined polarization is different from the first predefined polarization. During operation, an interface circuit in the electronic device selectively transmits, from the first antenna, first wireless signals corresponding to the packet or the frame. Moreover, the interface circuit selectively transmits, from the second antenna, second wireless signals corresponding to the packet or the frame, where the second wireless signals have a same magnitude as the first wireless signals, and the second wireless signals are transmitted from the second antenna concurrently (or at the same time) as the first wireless signals are transmitted from the first antenna. Note that the interface circuit may dynamically modify the transmit polarization during the communication.
