  • Patent number: 12272370
Abstract: Implementations of the subject technology provide systems and methods for providing audio source separation for audio input, such as for audio devices having limited power and/or computing resources. The subject technology may allow an audio device to leverage processing and/or power resources of a companion device that is communicatively coupled to the audio device. The companion device may identify a noise condition of the audio device, select a source separation model based on the noise condition, and provide the source separation model to the audio device. In this way, the audio device can provide audio source separation functionality using a relatively small footprint source separation model that is specific to the noise condition in which the audio device is operated.

  • Patent number: 12273086
Abstract: An electronic device may include wireless circuitry with a processor, a transceiver circuit, a front-end module, and an antenna array having multiple antennas. The front-end module may include radio-frequency splitter-combiner circuitry that splits radio-frequency signals from a single port into multiple radio-frequency signals at multiple split ports and/or combines radio-frequency signals from the multiple ports into radio-frequency signals at the single combined port. The radio-frequency splitter-combiner may include adjustable components such as switches, adjustable inductors, and/or adjustable capacitors that place the radio-frequency splitter-combiner in different configurations based on whether or not there are inactive split ports coupled to inactive antennas. This enables improved impedance matching for active split ports even while one or more split ports remain inactive, thereby reducing power loss in this mode of operation.

  • Patent number: 12273882
Abstract: An application layer in a device, a service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layer in the device, and/or a media access control (MAC) layer in the device may determine that wireless communication resources allocated to the device need to be adjusted. The determination may be in response to detecting that a quality of the wireless connection of the device has deteriorated, or it may be based on advance knowledge of information pertaining to an application layer payload in the device. In response to the determination the device may transmit, in a MAC Control Element (MAC CE) to a base station, a request for an adjustment of the allocated wireless communication resources. The adjustment may lead to a temporary boost of resources for a limited period of time or to a persistent update of the allocated wireless communication resources.

  • Patent number: 12273938
Abstract: Systems and methods of managing PNF connectivity are provided. A NM determines to add to or remove external connectivity from a PNF and transmits a NS update request to a NFVO that contains an identifier of the NS instance to be updated, an indication of a type of update operation requested, and information of the PNF connectivity to be changed. A NS update response contains a lifecycle operation occurrence identifier identifying a NS lifecycle operation occurrence. Separate NS lifecycle change notification from the NFVO indicate that a NS update to change the connectivity of the PNF has started and a result of the change. The notifications include the lifecycle operation occurrence identifier.

  • Patent number: 12273940
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for EPS fallback when initiating a voice call while camped on a 5G cell. The UE may camp on a 5G network by performing an IMS registration procedure/IMS SIP invite procedure with an IMS. The UE may initiate a voice call and determine that the voice call cannot be established over the 5G NR network. In response, the UE may perform a TAU procedure or an attachment procedure with a cell of a 4G network. The IMS may be transferred to the 4G network during TAU/attachment procedure. The UE may, in response to determining that it is barred from the 4G network, transition back to the 5G network and transmit, to the 5G NR network, a SIP cancel request to allow a context associated with the UE to be cleared from the IMS.

  • Patent number: 12273773
Abstract: Several techniques using a network slice quota (NSQ) management function provide dynamic adjustment in order to meet the limitation of data rate per network slice in the uplink and downlink wireless connections in a wireless network. In one technique, when the limit is reached, the session aggregated maximum bit rates (AMBR) per subscription level is adjusted in proportionate ratio of the maximum bit rate per subscription level per user equipment (UE). In another technique, when the limit is reached, there is a proportionate equivalent increment and decrement of session AMBR based on usage patterns of the subscription levels. In a further technique, when the limit is reached, there is a proportionate equivalent increment and decrement of slice resources based on usage patterns. In yet another technique, a quota update is attempted using the Unified Data Repository (UDR).
