Abstract: In some implementations, a server device can generate configuration data for an application based on user engagement segments associated with a user of the application. For example, a server device can receive information identifying user engagement segments associated with a particular user. When the server device receives a request for configuration data for the application that identifies the particular user, the server device can obtain the engagement segment identifiers associated with the particular user. The server device can use the engagement segment identifiers to obtain segment configuration data for each engagement segment identifier, combine the segment configuration data into a combined configuration, and send the combined configuration to the application on the user device. The application can then determine what content to present and how to present the content on the user device based on the combined configuration data.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE), or other network component can operate to configure different sets of resources for an uplink (UL) physical channel for an uplink (UL)-to-downlink (DL) channel occupancy time (COT) sharing to coexist with another radio access technology (RAT). An energy detection (ED) threshold can be selected from the different sets of resource configurations for an UL transmission based on one or more conditions. A gap can be configured between a physical random access control channel (PRACH) transmission and a PUSCH transmission based on one of at least a first value associated with a numerology between the PRACH and the PUSCH and a second value greater than the first value. The UL transmission can be provided based on the ED threshold or the configured conditional gap via the UL physical channel.

Abstract: A camera system may include one or more voice coil motor (VCM) actuators to implement focus, tilt and shift functions. The VCM actuators may include coils segmented into multiple coil segments having individually impedances lower than the impedance of the respective coil as a whole. The coil segments may be individually driven by respective currents at different points in time to interact with magnet(s) to produce motive forces along the same axis. Based on the winding configuration and driving mode of the coil segments, the motive forces may move a lens group relative to an image sensor in a direction substantially orthogonal to an image plane, tilt the lens group relative to the image sensor, or shift the image sensor relative to the lens group on the image plane.
Abstract: A voltage-controlled oscillator may include an inductor. The inductor may include a first coil coupled to an electronic component. The inductor may include a first coil coupled to the first circuit component, a second coil coupled to the first circuit component via a junction and being in parallel with the first coil, and a shared circuit path coupled to the second circuit component, the first coil, and the second coil, the shared circuit path overlapping the junction. The inductor may be configured to reduce phase noise generated by the electronic component.
Abstract: A flex circuit that may accommodate movement of an image sensor within a camera. The flex circuit generally includes a plurality of planar segments between a first end that is fixed relative to the image sensor and a second end that is fixed relative to one or more camera components. One or more of the planar segments twists when the image sensor is moved within the camera.

Abstract: Generating an expressive avatar includes obtaining an expressive image of a face, and determining at least one target levels of detail for a representation of the face. A trained convolutional neural network model is applied to the expressive image of the face to obtain a mesh representation of the face at each of the at least one target levels of detail, wherein each convolution in the trained convolutional neural network model provides a unique level of detail, and an avatar is generated based on the mesh representation of the face at least of the at least one target levels of detail.
Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques for user equipment (UE) power control are described. A described technique includes receiving, by a UE, a discontinuous receiving (DRX) configuration from a base station; monitoring, by the UE on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), for downlink control information (DCI) messages outside of a DRX active time, the DCI messages being of a predetermined format that is configured to provide wake-up signaling; receiving, by the UE, a DCI message outside of the DRX active time, the DCI message being of the predetermined format; and determining, by the UE, whether to wake-up based on the received DCI message.

Abstract: Wireless communication systems can include multiple Transmission and Reception Points (TRPs). Systems, devices, and techniques for control signaling of Precoding Resource block Group (PRG) size configuration for multi-TRP operations are described. A described technique includes determining, by a User Equipment (UE), a PRG size based on a downlink control information (DCI) message that provides scheduling information for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); receiving, by the UE, a group of PDSCH transmissions from multiple TRPs that are transmitted in accordance with the DCI message; and decoding, by the UE, one or more of the PDSCH transmissions based on the PRG size.
Abstract: A system comprises an encoder configured to compress media objects using a compression loop that includes a residual decomposition component that decomposes a residual signal for a block of the media object being compressed into multiple sub-error signals. The encoder is further configured to enable different transformation and/or quantization processes to be specified to be applied to different ones of the sub-errors. A corresponding decoder is configured to apply inverse transformation/quantization processing to the sub-error signals, based on the transformation/quantization processes that were applied at the encoder. The decoder then re-creates a residual signal from the processed sub-error signals and uses the re-created residual signal to correct predicted values at the decoder.
