  • Patent number: 12068859
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and a network agree on the use of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook. The UE receives a plurality of downlink control information (DCI) transmissions during a corresponding plurality of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasions from the base station, wherein each DCI transmission schedules multiple physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions on a corresponding one of a plurality of component carriers (CCs), receives a time domain resource allocation (TDRA) table configuration from the base station, determines a maximum number of PDSCH transmissions per CC based on the TDRA table configuration, groups the plurality of CCs together and determines a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgement (ACK) codebook size based on a number of the multiple PDSCH transmissions, the maximum number of PDSCH transmissions, and a resulting ACK or negative acknowledgement (NACK) for each of the multiple PDSCH transmissions.

  • Patent number: 12068862
Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for enhanced Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ)-ACK in a fifth generation (5G) wireless communications system. A user equipment (UE) can receive, during a HARQ-ACK window, a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) transmission or a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) transmission corresponding to a SPS PDSCH release. The UE can generate a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ)-ACK information bit corresponding to the reception. The UE can be configured with an offset value, k, and a length, l, of the HARQ-ACK window associated with an uplink transmission slot n, of a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) transmission, and determine a starting slot of the HARQ-ACK window as n?k. When a corresponding valid uplink transmission slot is not available, the UE can transmit the HARQ-ACK information bit in the uplink transmission slot n of the PUCCH transmission.

  • Patent number: 12069805
Abstract: Devices are disclosed that include a wideband millimeter wave (mmW) via transition design for multilayer printed circuit boards (MLBs). In various instances embodiments, a via is dimensioned to provide impedance matching to stripline tracing connected at the end of the via. Impedance matching in the via may eliminate the need for an impedance matching section on the stripline tracing. In some instances, the dimensions of the via pad diameter and the via keepout diameter are selected to tune a via transition structure to selected frequencies and/or frequency bandwidths.

  • Patent number: 12069719
Abstract: Devices and methods of providing channel occupancy time (COT) are described. After a gNB acquires an unlicensed channel for a COT, the gNB indicates the COT length to a UE using a PDCCH having a DCI formed in accordance with DCI format 2_0. The slot format of the last slot of the COT is indicated using a reserved slot format indicator that is reserved to indicate the end of the COT. The reserved slot format indicator indicates a last slot format of available slot formats of DCI format 2_0. Dummy bits fill the DCI after the reserved slot format indicator. Alternatively, to indicate the COT length, a COT field dedicated to providing the COT is used in the DCI or the CRC is masked using a slot format indication Radio Network Temporary Identifier.

  • Patent number: 12067909
Abstract: A head-mounted device may include a camera that captures a live video feed of an environment. A display in the head-mounted device may display passthrough display content that includes the live video feed. Control circuitry may dynamically adjust a maximum allowable brightness for the passthrough display content during operation of the head-mounted device. Upon an initial donning of the head-mounted device, the passthrough display content may be permitted to use most or all of the achievable brightness range of the display. After a given time period, the user may be adapted to the brightness range of the display and the maximum allowable brightness for the passthrough display content may be reduced to allow additional headroom for rendered display content. The control circuitry may continue to adjust tone mappings for passthrough display content and rendered display content based on whether the display content favors real-world content or virtual content.

  • Patent number: 12066861
Abstract: A head-mountable device can include a nosepiece that distributes forces away from a top of the nose to the sides of the nose. The nose contact elements of such nosepieces can be slideably and/or rotationally biased to apply forces to the sides of the nose when the head-mountable device is worn by a user. Such distribution allows forces to be spread across a greater area, which improves overall comfort, positioning, and light sealing of the head-mountable device.
