Abstract: A touch-sensitive textile device that is configured to detect the occurrence of a touch, the location of a touch, and/or the force of a touch on the touch-sensitive textile device. In some embodiments, the touch-sensitive textile device includes a first set of conductive threads oriented along a first direction, and a second set of conductive threads interwoven with the first set of conductive threads and oriented along a second direction. The device may also include a sensing circuit that is operatively coupled to the first and second set of conductive threads. The sensing circuit may be configured to apply a drive signal to the first and second set of conductive threads. The sensing circuit may also be configured to detect a touch or near touch based on a variation in an electrical measurement using the first or second set of conductive threads.

Abstract: Sensing circuitry of a first electronic device can be configured to sense a signal transmitted by the second, external electronic device contacting and coupling through the body of the user. The first electronic device can be configured to detect the contact while receiving data from the second device, and determine whether the signal transmitted by the external device corresponds an “intentional touch,” or corresponds to a signal coupling between a different body part and the external device or through a different signal pathway (e.g., electromagnetically, through the air, etc.).

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for determination of reference signal received power (RSRP) to estimate cross-link interference. The approach uses a received signal from a second UE and downlink (DL) timing information from a transmission reception point (TRP). The approach generates a corrected timing signal based on the received signal, the DL timing information and a reference sequence, and then extracts a symbol from the received signal and the corrected timing signal. The approach then transforms using a fast Fourier transform (FFT) circuit the symbol, and then cross-correlates with a reference sequence to generate a correlation result from which the RSRP is estimated.
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method that allows a user equipment (UE) to perform a wireless measurement. The method configures a characteristic of a channel-state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for tracking of the UE. Also disclosed is a system and method to perform radio resource management (RRM) testing. Testing can include: setting a power level of CSI-RS for tracking to a smaller value that a power level of another RRM reference signal; or setting a negative power offset value of the CSI-RS for tracking to a synchronization signal (SS) of the RRM reference signal; or setting a positive power offset value of the CSI-RS for tracking to a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) of the RRM reference signal.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a map application that identities a transit route that includes one or more transit legs between a starting location and a destination location. In response to a request to start navigating the identified transit route, the map application of some embodiments provides a first display area for displaying a set of navigation instructions, each of which describes a transit maneuver that is associated with a transit leg of the transit route. The map application also provides a second display area for displaying a map region presentation associated with the navigation instruction that is displayed in the first display area.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to an I/O agent circuit. The I/O agent circuit may include a memory bank and be coupled to a set of devices. The I/O agent circuit may assign a device of the set of devices to a subdomain of a plurality of subdomains implemented for the memory bank. The I/O agent circuit may store, in that memory bank, a set of transactions of the device in association with the subdomain assigned to the device. The I/O agent circuit may execute the set of transactions such that transactions stored in the memory bank in association with other ones of the plurality of subdomains than the subdomain assigned to the device do not block execution of the set of transactions.
Abstract: An audio output device may join an existing session between a source device and another audio output device. The source device may transmit audio data associated with an audio session, using a first frequency band, to a first wireless audio output device and transmit connection information associated with the audio session to a second wireless audio output device over a second frequency band. The second frequency band differs from the first frequency band and the connection information allows the second wireless audio output device to join the audio session. After transmitting the connection information, the source device may transmit subsequent audio data associated with the audio session to the first wireless audio output device and the second wireless audio output device.
Abstract: An image decoding method according to the present invention may include splitting a picture into a plurality of tiles; and determining at least one slice on the basis of the plurality of tiles. Here, splitting a picture into a plurality of tiles may include: determining the width of a first tile column in the picture; and determining the width of a second tile column neighboring the first tile column.
Abstract: An acoustic imaging system coupled to an acoustic medium to define an imaging surface. The acoustic imaging system includes an array of piezoelectric acoustic transducers formed at least in part from a thin-film piezoelectric material, such as PVDF. The array is coupled to the acoustic medium opposite the imaging surface and formed using a thin-film manufacturing process over an application-specific integrated circuit that, in turn, is configured to leverage on or more beamforming scan operations to drive the array of piezoelectric actuators to generate an image of an object at least partially wetting to the imaging surface.

Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device may configure a new device based on a current state of an old device, including settings, preferences, and other user data. The data may be transferred from the old device to the new device, and then relocated according to a manifest that details positions of the data on the old device. The destination device may be rebooted into a configuration mode to allow for the relocation of the transferred data, and then rebooted again to configure the destination device to provide access to the data in its respective relative locations on the destination device.

Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein include optical aberration control for a camera system. Such a camera system may implement optical aberration control, e.g., by combining one or more variable focus devices with one or more actuators (e.g., a voice coil motor actuator) for moving a lens stack of the camera system to provide autofocus (AF) and/or optical image stabilization (OIS) functionality. A variable focus device may have variable optical power to achieve AF, OIS, and/or introduce optical aberrations such as spherical aberration. In some implementations, the variable focus device may be driven to introduce optical aberrations, and the actuator for moving the lens stack may be driven to compensate for the optical power from the variable focus device.
Abstract: An electronic device includes a port binding module that binds ports to processes. A process running on the electronic device sends a port request to the port binding module. The port binding module determines whether the requested port is a restricted port. If not, the port binding module binds the requested port to the process. If the requested port is restricted, then the port binding module determines whether the requesting process has an entitlement corresponding to the port. If the requesting process has the corresponding entitlement, then the port binding module binds the requested restricted port to the process. If not, then the port binding module denies binding the requested restricted port to the process.
