  • Publication number: 20240089933
Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing time domain bandwidth part (TD-BWP) switch for balancing between the UE power consumption and a latency of the UE. For example, a UE can be configured to add a plurality of padding bits to a transport block (TB) to reach a predetermined slot capacity for one transmission time interval (TTI) associated with UE traffic in response to determining that a parameter associated with the UE traffic meets a condition. The UE can be further configured to transmit the TB over the TTI to the base station and receive a message from the base station. The UE is further configured to change a time domain bandwidth part (TD-BWP) based on the received message.

  • Publication number: 20240085968
Abstract: A system for a given device may include a plurality of systems on a chip (SOCs). Each SOC may include an interface circuit and a bridge circuit for communicating with other SOCs. The interface circuit of an SOC may include a plurality of communication devices to transfer data packets from/to the SOC to the other SOCs. The bridge circuit may provide various control functions for the interface circuit. An indication may be generated when the system enters an idle mode. In response, the bridge circuit may generate signal(s) to cause some of the communication devices of the interface circuit into a low power state. The interface circuit may obtain the signal(s) and accordingly transition some of the communication devices to the low power state.

  • Publication number: 20240090014
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for improving a scheduling request transmission between a UE and a base station. The transmission of the scheduling request is postponed, by implementing a threshold that the data in the transmission buffer has to reach, before a transmission of the scheduling request is triggered. In one variant, the data in the transmission buffer needs to reach a specific amount, to trigger a scheduling request. The invention refers to further improvements: the PDDCH monitoring time window is delayed after sending a scheduling request; the dedicated scheduling request resources of the PUCCH are prioritized differently such that low-priority scheduling requests are transmitted less often.

  • Publication number: 20240086062
Abstract: The systems described herein provide a remote keyboard service for a media device on a computing device without having to invoke an application or unlock the computing device. The computing device can receive a message indicating that a text input field on the other device is selected and present a notification to the user prompting the user to invoke the virtual keyboard on the computing device to provide text input to the selected text input field. The computing device can receive user input selecting the notification and present a virtual keyboard for providing text input to the other device. The computing device can receive keyboard input from the user selecting characters and send the characters to the other device. • Patent number: 11928779
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein generate a mesh representing the surfaces in a physical environment. The mesh is generated using multi-resolution voxels based on detected depth information, e.g., from a depth camera. The techniques may use multiple hash tables to store the multi-resolution voxel data. For example, the hash tables may store each voxel's 3D position and a truncated signed distance field (TSDF) value corresponding to each voxels' distance to a nearest surface. Each of the multiple hash tables may include data corresponding to a different level of resolution and those resolutions may depend upon distance/noise or other factors. For example, voxels close to a depth camera may have a finer resolution and smaller size compared to voxels that are further from the depth camera. Techniques disclosed herein may involve using a meshing algorithm that combines multi-resolution voxel information stored in multiple hash tables to generate a single mesh.

  • Patent number: 11930381
Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for implementing backup link establishment and operation for multi-link wireless communication networks such as a wireless local area network (WLAN). Some aspects relate to an electronic device including a transceiver configured to communicate over a wireless network and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor receives a message including information associated with a backup link from a second electronic device. The processor further receives data associated with data traffic from the second electronic device on a primary link of the wireless network. In response to a quality of the primary link being below a threshold, the processor receives a notification frame from the second electronic device on the backup link and receives additional data associated with the data traffic from the second electronic device on the backup link or on an other link informed by the notification frame.

  • Patent number: 11929779
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) tunes a transceiver of the UE to a first frequency associated with a first channel, transmits a first short packet to a second UE on the first channel and determines whether a first indication was received from the second UE in response to the first short packet. The first indication indicates that the first channel satisfies one or more predetermined criteria. The UE transmits then the primary data to the second UE on the first channel in response to the first indication being received from the second UE.

  • Patent number: 11929388
Abstract: A display may be formed by an array of light-emitting diodes mounted to the surface of a display substrate. The light-emitting diodes may be inorganic light-emitting diodes formed from separate crystalline semiconductor structures. An array of pixel control circuits may be used to control light emission from the light-emitting diodes. Each pixel control circuit may be configured to control one or more respective passive matrices. To control partial pixel cells in the display, a donor pixel control circuit in a partial pixel cell may control the pixels in a receptor partial pixel cell without a pixel control circuit. To mitigate the size of an inactive area of the display, fanout signal lines for the display may be formed in the light-emitting active area of the display. The fanout signal lines may be formed between a row of pixel control circuits and a bottom edge of the light-emitting active area.
