  • Patent number: 11928317
Abstract: A device with a display and, optionally, a touch-sensitive surface detects a first input corresponding to a request to share first content from a first application while displaying the first application on the display. In response to detecting the first input, the device displays a sharing interface that includes a plurality of options for sharing the first content. While displaying the sharing interface, the device detects selection of an affordance in the sharing interface. In accordance with a determination that the affordance is a respective user-first sharing option for a respective user, the device initiates a process for sharing the first content with the respective user. • Patent number: 11930522
Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate reduced density CSI (Channel State Information)-RS (Reference Signals). One example embodiment can be employed at a UE (User Equipment) and can comprise processing circuitry configured to receive and process a configuration message that comprises one or more configuration parameters for one or more CSI (Channel State Information)-RS (Reference Signal) APs (Antenna Ports) of a configurable density CSI-RS. The configuration parameters indicate a density of CSI-RS resource per Physical Resource Block (PRB) per CSI-RS AP and a PRB offset. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine a set of REs (Resource Elements) for the one or more CSI-RS APs of the configurable density CSI-RS based on the one or more configuration parameters and perform measurements on the configurable density CSI-RS from the set of REs to determine one or more CSI parameters. The one or more configuration parameters are provided per CSI-RS resource configuration.

  • Patent number: 11928483
Abstract: An electronic device presents a user interface including an output property that represents a first type of output. The device detects a first input associated with modifying the first type of output via a first behavior model, and changes the output property over time based on the first behavior model and updates the user interface based on the changes in the output property. While updating the user interface, the device detects a change to the user input; and changes the output property over time based on a second behavior model based on: a value of the output property determined based on the first behavior model; and a first derivative of the value of the output property with respect to time determined based on the first behavior model. The device updates the user interface based on the changes in the output property that occur based on the second behavior model.

  • Patent number: 11930519
Abstract: Measurement resources are often limited in 5G and 4G-LTE communications. As a result, SMTC and CSI-RS measurement windows will occasionally be assigned to the same resource elements of a signal frame. This results in a collision that must be resolved, since both measurements cannot be performed simultaneously. The collision can be resolved using restriction, where overlapping resource elements are assigned to either the SMTC or the CSI-RS measurements, or can be resolved using measurement sharing, where overlapping resource elements are divided among the two measurements according to a measurement sharing factor. Various factors, including priority or window periodicity may be taken into account by the measurement rules that dictate collision resolution.

  • Patent number: 11929045
Abstract: A display may have an array of pixels such as liquid crystal display pixels. The display may include short pixel rows that span only partially across the display and full-width pixel rows that span the width of the display. The gate lines coupled to the short pixel rows may extend into the inactive area of the display. Supplemental gate line loading structures may be located in the inactive area of the display to increase loading on the gate lines that are coupled to short pixel rows. The supplemental gate line loading structures may include data lines and doped polysilicon that overlap the gate lines in the inactive area. In displays that combine display and touch functionality into a thin-film transistor layer, supplemental loading structures may be used in the inactive area to increase loading on common voltage lines that are coupled to short rows of common voltage pads.

  • Patent number: 11929950
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for calculating and compensating for Doppler shift in a high-speed environment. When in a high-speed environment, Doppler shifts on a transmitted radio frequency signal can become extremely large, which may make it difficult or even impossible for a receiving device to accurately decipher the signal. Therefore, embodiments of the present disclosure describe how tracking reference signals can be transmitted from multiple transmission/reception points, and processed by the UE. For example, the TRS transmitted from the TRP can be enhanced to allow for TRS information from two different TRPs. Additionally, or alternatively, a flag can be set within TRS information that identifies it as having originated from either a first TRP or a second TRP. Additionally, the UE can calculate Doppler shift information and report that information back to the base station in a report message, such as an SRS message. In this manner, the base station can precompensate for the Doppler shift.

  • Patent number: 11928467
Abstract: In an embodiment, a processor comprises an atomic predictor circuit to predict whether or not an atomic operation will complete successfully. The prediction may be used when a subsequent load operation to the same memory location as the atomic operation is executed, to determine whether or not to forward store data from the atomic operation to the subsequent load operation. If the prediction is successful, the store data may be forwarded. If the prediction is unsuccessful, the store data may not be forwarded. In cases where an atomic operation has been failing (not successfully performing the store operation), the prediction may prevent the forwarding of the store data and thus may prevent a subsequent flush of the load.
