  • Patent number: 11847744
Abstract: In some implementations, a method includes obtaining an end state of a first content item spanning a first time duration. In some implementations, the end state of the first content item indicates a first state of a synthesized reality (SR) agent at the end of the first time duration. In some implementations, the method includes obtaining an initial state of a second content item spanning a second time duration subsequent the first time duration. In some implementations, the initial state of the second content item indicates a second state of the SR agent at the beginning of the second time duration. In some implementations, the method includes synthesizing an intermediary emergent content item spanning over an intermediary time duration that is between the end of the first time duration and the beginning of the second time duration.

  • Patent number: 11845453
Abstract: An actuator system includes an actuator, a first actuator controller that is operable to control operation of the actuator and is operable to determine a first value for a parameter that relates to operation of the actuator, a second actuator controller that is operable to control operation of the actuator and is operable to determine a second value for the parameter, and at least one additional component that is operable to determine a third value for the parameter. A fault is identified in response to determining that the first value does not agree with at least one of the second value or the third value. In response to identification of the fault, the first actuator controller changes from an activated state to a deactivated state and the second actuator controller changes from a deactivated state an activated state.

  • Patent number: 11847348
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to multi-activation techniques for wire operations with multiple partial writes. In some embodiments, a memory controller is configured to access data in a memory device that supports partial writes having a first size using read-modify-write operations and non-partial writes having a second size that is greater than the first size. In some embodiments, the memory controller is configured to queue a first write operation having the second size, where the first write operation includes multiple partial writes. In some embodiments, the memory controller is configured to send separate activate signals to the memory device to activate a bank of the memory device to perform different proper subsets of the multiple partial writes. This may allow interleaving of other accesses to a memory bank and merging of writes while waiting for a current activation, in some embodiments.

  • Patent number: 11847375
Abstract: In some implementations, a user device can coordinate adjustments to a composite GUI generated in cooperation with an accessory device that presents the composite graphical user interface. For example, the user device can receive configuration data that defines the maximum GUI display area (e.g., size, dimensions) of the accessory device, various view areas within the GUI display area of the accessory device into which the user device can render GUIs, and/or transitions between the various view areas. The user device can generate a display buffer based on the maximum GUI display area, generate a graphical user interface in an area of the buffer corresponding to a current view area specified by the accessory device, and send to the accessory device video frames corresponding to the display buffer. The accessory device can generate a composite GUI based on the received video frames that include the user device generated GUI.

  • Patent number: 11849378
Abstract: A first wireless communication device (UE device) associated with a certain user (or included in a specified set/group of UE devices) may establish a first communication link with an accessory device according to a short-range radio access technology, and transmit link (pairing) information associated with the first communication link to a server, such as a cloud-based server. The server may share this (first) link information with other UE devices associated with the same user (or belonging to the same specified group of UE devices as the first UE device). Link information associated with the other UE devices (i.e. second link information) may equally be shared with the accessory device, and the other UE devices and accessory device may use the first link information and second link information in establishing respective communication links between any of the other UE devices and the accessory device without having to undergo a pairing procedure.

  • Patent number: 11847576
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a technique for implementing a framework that enables application developers to enhance their applications with dynamic adjustment capabilities. Specifically, the framework, when utilized by an application on a mobile computing device that implements the framework, can enable the application to establish predictive models that can be used to identify meaningful behavioral patterns of an individual who uses the application. In turn, the predictive models can be used to preempt the individual's actions and provide an enhanced overall user experience. The framework is configured to interface with other software entities on the mobile computing device that conduct various analyses to identify appropriate times for the application to manage and update its predictive models. Such appropriate times can include, for example, identified periods of time where the individual is not operating the mobile computing device, as well as recognized conditions where power consumption is not a concern.

  • Patent number: 11846782
Abstract: A head-mounted device may have head-mounted support structures configured to be worn on a head of a user. The head-mounted device may have stereo optical components such as left and right cameras or left and right display systems. The optical components may have respective left and right pointing vectors. Deformation of the support structures may cause the camera pointing vectors and/or the display system pointing vectors to become misaligned. Sensor circuitry such as strain gauge circuitry may measure pointing vector misalignment. Control circuitry may control the cameras and/or the display systems to compensate for measured changes in pointing vector misalignment.

  • Patent number: 11848815
Abstract: Systems and methods of managing creation and configuration for 5G networks, NFs and NSSIs are provided. An instantiation or configuration request received from a managed entity respectively instantiates or configures the appropriate element. For NF instantiation, when the NF has a virtualized part to be instantiated by a VNF, interaction with an NFV MANO system instantiates the VNF is followed by NF instantiation notification and MOI creation for the NF. For NF configuration, the NF is configured and notification provided thereof. For network instantiation, after reception of a network creation request, interaction with the system to instantiate a NS that realizes the network is followed by determination that a new VNF associated with the NS has been instantiated, creation of a NF (constituting the network) MOI is realized by the new VNF, and NF configuration. For NSSI creation, a NF constituting the NSSI is created and configured.

  • Patent number: 11849472
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are presented to facilitate coexistence between multiple wireless communication protocols implemented by a wireless communication device, by dynamically adjusting priority between the two protocols. The wireless communication device may typically favor a first protocol (e.g. Bluetooth/BTLE), prioritizing resource requests by the first protocol. In certain use cases, the first protocol may demand high resource usage for an extended time, particularly for newer tracking and wearable devices, such as location tags, watches, headsets, etc. Such applications can disrupt existing use cases for a second protocol (e.g., Wi-Fi). Therefore, the wireless communication device may dynamically determine whether the second protocol is performing critical operations, such as latency-sensitive applications or high-performance operations. If so, the wireless communication device may allocate resources accordingly in real time, e.g.
