  • Patent number: 12218478
Abstract: An optoelectronic device includes a semiconductor substrate having first and second faces. An emitter is disposed on the first face of the semiconductor substrate and is configured to emit a beam of radiation through the substrate. At least one curved optical surface is formed in the second face of the semiconductor substrate. A first reflector is disposed on the first face in proximity to the emitter, and a second reflector is disposed on the second face in proximity to the curved optical surface, such that the second reflector reflects the beam that was emitted through the semiconductor substrate by the emitter to reflect back through the semiconductor substrate toward the first reflector, which then reflects the beam to pass through the semiconductor substrate so as to exit from the semiconductor substrate through the curved optical surface.

  • Patent number: 12219314
Abstract: Systems and processes for user identification using headphones associated with a first device are provided. For example, first movement information corresponding to movement of a second electronic device is detected. Second movement information corresponding to movement of a third electronic device is detected. A similarity score is determined based on the first movement information and the second movement information. In accordance with a determination that the similarity score is above a threshold similarity score, a user is identified as an authorized user of the first electronic device and the second electronic device. Abstract: A method performed by an in-ear headphone. Coupled to the in-ear headphone is a first ear tip that is inserted into an ear canal of a user. The method obtains an audio signal from an audio source device paired with the in-ear headphone and uses the signal to drive a speaker of the headphone to output a sound into the ear canal. The method obtains a microphone signal that is responsive to the outputted sound. The method notifies the user to replace the first ear tip with a second ear tip in response to a parameter associated with the microphone signal being less than a threshold.

  • Patent number: 12217620
Abstract: A configuration for a breathing sequence may be defined using a user interface of a user device. The user interface may also be used to begin the breathing sequence. Prior to beginning the breathing sequence, the user device can determine a breath ratio for the breathing sequence based on a breathing profile. The breath ratio is based at least in part on inhale time and exhale time of a breath of the breathing sequence. During the breathing sequence, a fluctuating user interface element may fluctuate at a cyclic rate corresponding to the breath ratio. Such fluctuation may include repeated growing and repeated shrinking of the fluctuating user interface element.
