  • Patent number: 12215985
Abstract: A method includes obtaining a first map element from a first map, identifying second map elements from a second map based on locations of the second map elements relative to the first map element, and identifying first and second point on the second map elements based on proximity to beginning and ending points of the first map element. One or more of the second map elements define a corresponding portion of the second map between the first point and the second point. The method also includes determining a registration score for the first map element relative to the corresponding portion of the second map, and in response to determining that the registration score indicates a match between the first map element and the corresponding portion of the second map, defining registration information that describes a relationship between the first map element and the corresponding portion of the second map.

  • Patent number: 12219396
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses disclosed herein can mitigate transmitting latency to improve the quality of a voice or the video call. These systems, methods, and apparatuses reset a transmitting latency timer upon retrieving a packet from a transmitting buffer. Thereafter, these systems, methods, and apparatuses start the count of the transmitting latency timer as the packet is being processed. And these systems, methods, and apparatuses compare the transmitting latency timer e with a transmitting latency threshold as these systems, methods, and apparatuses are processing a packet for transmission. These systems, methods, and apparatuses can drop the packet and/or can select another packet for processing in response to the transmitting latency timer exceeding the transmitting latency threshold to mitigate the transmitting latency.

  • Publication number: 20250039606
Abstract: Techniques for routing communication to a common audio output device connected multiple audio signal source devices are disclosed. For each of audio signal source devices, a set of inputs are assessed. The set of inputs can include: an operational state of the audio signal source device, an interaction with the audio signal source device, an audio-producing application being executed by the audio signal source device, or a degree of user interaction with the audio-producing application. At a point in time, an audio routing score is generated for each of the audio signal source devices according to a weighted calculation of the set of inputs based on the assessing. Finally, an audio signal routing decision is made, to route an audio signal from one of the audio signal source devices to the audio output device, based on the audio routing score for each of the audio signal source devices.

  • Publication number: 20250039796
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) having enhanced configured grant transmission is provided. The UE operates by determining whether a wake-up signal (WUS) indicator is received. The UE also determines whether a wake-up trigger condition is met, and based on a determination that the trigger condition is met, it determines whether the UE is configured with a power-save wake up (ps-WakeUp) parameter. Based on a determination that the UE is configured with the ps-WakeUp parameter, the UE determines whether the ps-WakeUp parameter is set to false. Further, based on a determination that the ps-WakeUp parameter is set to false, and based on a determination that the WUS indicator is not received, the UE transitions from a sleep state to an active state during a next discontinuous reception (DRX) on-duration period.

  • Publication number: 20250036415
Abstract: A processor may include a conditional instruction prediction tracking circuit. During fetch of a conditional instruction from memory to an instruction cache of the processor, the conditional instruction prediction tracking circuit may predict whether the conditional instruction is biased. Responsive to a prediction that the conditional instruction is biased, the conditional instruction prediction tracking circuit may cause the conditional instruction to be executed according to the predicted bias. Sometimes the conditional prediction tracking circuit may cause the conditional instruction to be re-coded such that it may be executed as an unconditional instruction.

  • Publication number: 20250039506
Abstract: In some implementations, a user device can predictively route media content to a remote playback device based on playback context information obtained by the user device. The playback context can include local playback context information related to the state and/or context of the user device. The playback context can include remote playback context information related to the state and/or context of available remote playback devices. Based on the playback context information obtained by the user device, the user device can generate a predictive score for each available playback device that indicates or predicts the likelihood that the user will want to send media content to the corresponding playback device. The user device can generate and present a graphical user interface that can identify the playback devices having predictive scores over a threshold score. In some instances, the user device can automatically route selected media content to a predicted playback device.

  • Publication number: 20250036416
Abstract: A processor may include an indirect control transfer prediction circuit. During fetch of an indirect control transfer instruction from memory to an instruction cache of the processor, the indirect control transfer prediction circuit may predict whether the indirect control transfer instruction is biased. Responsive to a prediction that the indirect control transfer instruction is biased, the indirect control transfer prediction circuit may cause the indirect control transfer instruction to be executed as an unconditional direct control transfer instruction according to the predicted bias.

  • Publication number: 20250037510
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing a notification indicating an identity of a first person based on face-associated body characteristics. For example, a device performs facial recognition to identify the identity of the first person shown in a first video feed. The device also identifies and stores physical characteristic information of the first person from the first video feed, the stored information associated with the identity of the first person based on the recognized face. Subsequently, the device receives a second video feed showing a second person whose face is determined to not be recognized by the device. The device compares the stored physical characteristic information of the first person with additional physical characteristic information of the second person shown in the second video feed. Based on the comparison, the device provides a notification indicating whether the identity of the second person corresponds to the identity of the first person.

  • Patent number: 12212399
Abstract: A user equipment (UE), a base station (e.g., next generation NodeB (gNB)), or other network component can operate to configure a beam failure recovery (BFR) timing based on a time offset and a number of symbols in a BFR procedure, as well as enable beam switching and bandwidth part (BWP) switching to be correlated. A beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) can be processed or transmitted in response to a detection of a beam failure. A beam failure recovery response (BFRR) can be generated via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) based on at least four slots after the BFRQ and a time offset for a non-terrestrial network (NTN).

  • Patent number: 12213212
Abstract: Techniques for flexible electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM) deployment to a wireless device by a network server, including generation of multiple eSIMs using an identical eSIM identifier value, such as an identical integrated circuit card identifier (ICCID) value, and subsequent selection of an eSIM based on capabilities of the wireless device. Multiple eSIMs that correspond to different sets of wireless device capabilities are generated without knowledge of the wireless communication standards that a wireless device supports. The multiple eSIMs include a first eSIM that includes fifth generation (5G) wireless communication protocol information and a second eSIM that excludes 5G wireless communication protocol information. The network server selects an eSIM from the multiple eSIMs based on whether the wireless device is 5G capable.
