  • Patent number: 11342842
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a switching regulator having a dual mode control. The switching regulator includes an error amplifier configured to receive an output voltage of a power source, and to generate an error voltage based on a difference between the output voltage of the power source and a reference voltage. The switching regulator additionally includes a PFM controller configured to receive the error voltage from the error amplifier, and to generate a clock signal having a switching frequency based on a difference between the error voltage and a modulation voltage. Moreover, the switching regulator includes a PWM controller configured to receive the clock signal and an error signal determined based on a load current sensed at an output of the power source, and to generate a control signal to control the power source.

  • Patent number: 11339510
Abstract: Weaving equipment may include warp strand positioning equipment that positions warp strands and weft strand positioning equipment that inserts weft strands among the warp strands to form fabric. One or more of the warp strands may be selectively modified along its length using a warp strand modification unit. The warp strand modification unit may be interposed between the fabric and a reed, may be interposed between the fabric and the warp strand positioning equipment, may be mounted to the reed, or may be incorporated elsewhere in the weaving equipment. Warp strand modifications may include adding segments of metallic paint coatings or other conductive coatings, adding insulating coatings, applying other liquids to segments of the warp strand, modifying the stretchiness of warp strands, removing material from segments of the warp strand, and attaching electrical components to the warp strand.

  • Patent number: 11343640
Abstract: A device and method for a user equipment (UE) to implement power savings mechanisms when operating within a significant location. The UE identifies that the UE is at a significant location. The significant location is a location relative to a currently camped cell of a network. At a first time and at the significant location, the UE performs a type of operation related to the network connection. The UE stores information corresponding to the performance of the type of operation at the first time in a profile associated with the significant location. At a second time and at the significant location, the UE performs the type of operation related to the network connection. The performance of the type of operation at the second time is modified based on the information stored in the profile associated with the significant location.

  • Patent number: 11343371
Abstract: Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for allowing a user to switch between wearable items that have been paired or associated with an electronic device, such as a smartphone, are described. In one embodiment, the wearable items automatically detect a removal of a first wearable item from a user's body and an attachment of a second wearable item to the user's body. Messages from the wearable items are transmitted to the electronic device to allow the electronic device to switch the active wearable item from the first wearable item to the second wearable item. The switch can occur while the electronic device is in a locked state, and the electronic device can synchronize the second wearable item with data received from the first wearable item. Other embodiments are also described.

  • Patent number: 11340084
Abstract: A method includes performing multiple steps of a route planning procedure based on starting and ending locations. Each of multiple steps of the route planning procedure includes maintaining information that identifies candidate routes by which graph elements can be reached or occupied during a current step, updating an accumulated cost for each of the candidate routes, updating an accumulated benefit for each of the candidate routes, determining a minimum return cost to the ending location for each candidate route, and eliminating candidate routes that cannot reach the ending location within a cost budget. A highest-benefit route from the candidate routes is selected.

  • Patent number: 11340756
Abstract: While displaying a three-dimensional environment, a computer system detects a hand at a first position that corresponds to a portion of the three-dimensional environment. In response to detecting the hand at the first position: in accordance with a determination that the hand is being held in a first predefined configuration, the computer system displays a visual indication of a first operation context for gesture input using hand gestures in the three-dimensional environment; and in accordance with a determination that the hand is not being held in the first predefined configuration, the computer system forgoes display of the visual indication.

  • Patent number: 11343876
Abstract: Provided herein are method and apparatus for beam recovery. An embodiment provides an apparatus for a user equipment (UE) including a radio frequency (RF) interface; and processing circuitry configured to: determine, in response to a beam failure, a channel for transmission of a beam failure recovery request as one of: a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH), a non-contention based Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH), and a contention based Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH); and encode the beam failure recovery request for transmission to an access node via the determined channel using the RF interface. At least some embodiments allow for transmission of a beam failure recovery request for beam recovery, allow for beam failure detection or new Tx beam identification, and allow for determining whether to configure a scheduling delay between a PDCCH and a PDSCH.

  • Patent number: 11340716
Abstract: Touch-based input devices, such as a stylus, can receive tactile input from a user. The tactile input functions can be performed by a touch sensor, such as a capacitive sensing device. A touch sensor can be integrated into a stylus in a low profile form. Tactile input can be received at the user's natural grip location. Furthermore, the stylus can effectively distinguish between tactile inputs from a user and disregard sustained tactile inputs that are provided while the user simply holds the stylus at the user's natural grip location.
