  • Patent number: 11162805
Abstract: A route-biased search in a mobile navigation system locates points of interest (POI) on or convenient to a mobile user's current travel. The route-biased search operates in two modes, navigation and non-navigation. The navigation mode identifies the most convenient POIs that honor the mobile user's route to their destination. The non-navigation mode identifies the most convenient POIs that are located ahead of the user based on the user's inferred direction of travel. The route-biased search determines the best possible routes to the identified POIs taking into account the impact of the detour costs of traveling to the POI along with other ranking factors.

  • Patent number: 11165416
Abstract: A system and method for efficient on-chip monitoring of clock signals post-silicon. An electronic circuit includes a post-silicon and on-die signal monitor and a first signal generator that sends a first signal with a first signal period to the signal monitor. The signal monitor selects a first sampling signal with a first sampling period such that a ratio of the first sampling period to the first signal period is greater than one and is a non-integer. The signal monitor selects a reference voltage level for indicating when the first signal is asserted. When the first sampling period has elapsed, the signal monitor samples the first signal to generate a voltage level, and upon completing sampling, determines a duty cycle of the generated voltage levels, which indicates a duty cycle of the first signal. Using a similar approach, the signal monitor is also capable of determining skew between two signals.

  • Patent number: 11160017
Abstract: A dual-radio AP including both a high-power (e.g., Wi-Fi) radio and a low-power (e.g., BLE) radio may support an assisted wakeup service for a power-limited dual-radio mobile device (STA). The power-limited STA may register with the AP for the assisted wakeup service, and may then disable its Wi-Fi radio (or otherwise initiate a lower-power mode). The power-limited STA may receive a BLE communication indicating the AP has pending Wi-Fi transmissions or updates applicable to the power-limited STA. In response, the power-limited STA may turn on its Wi-Fi radio and receive the pending transmissions or updates from the AP. If an AP does not include a low-power radio, then a high-power/low-power dual-radio STA that is not power-limited may serve as an assisted wakeup service proxy. The proxy may scan and trace the Wi-Fi beacons from the AP, and generate the BLE communication to the power-limited STA on behalf of the AP.

  • Patent number: 11159298
Abstract: Systems and methods of providing DMRS for a UE are generally described. The DMRS locations in a resource unit of a Physical Resource Allocation of a shared channel are randomly determined, and the DMRS sequences randomly generated before transmission from a master UE to a wearable UE. The DMRS locations are disposed on different subcarriers and symbols in the resource unit and are repeated every k subframes or m resource units within the same subframe. In situations in which the collision/contention probability is relatively small, DMRS in control channels may be used rather than in the shared data channel.
