Abstract: A formliner is disclosed. The formliner includes a plurality of courses, each course having a plurality of pockets, each pocket sized and configured to receive a decorative brick. The formliner is modular in nature and includes a joining portion for overlapping or being overlapped by a second formliner. At least one ridge of the formliner is at least partially within the joining portion.

Abstract: A survivable network is described in which one or more network device includes enhanced functionality to fight through cyber attacks. A Fight-Through Node (FTN) is described, which may be a combined hardware/software system that enhances existing networks with survivability properties. A network node comprises a hardware-based processing system having a set of one or more processing units, and a hypervisor executing on each one of the processing units; and a plurality of virtual machines executing on each of the hypervisor. The network node includes an application-level dispatcher to receive a plurality of transaction requests from a plurality of network communication session with a plurality of clients and distribute a copy of each of the transaction requests to the plurality of virtual machines executing on the network node over a plurality of time steps to form a processing pipeline of the virtual machines.

Abstract: A lock for a sliding door or window including a latching linkage and an inner manual lever, that allows movement of the latching linkage between a locked and an unlocked position by means of the manual lever and by operation of a inside or outside key barrel, but also allows deadlocking of the latching linkage in its locked position so that operation of the manual lever to unlock the latching linkage is prevented. It is however, desirable that the lock be operable to lock the lock from the inside by a convenient operation of the manual lever when the user is inside the house. It is further desirable that the door is able to be deadlocked by a key from the inside or the outside in a manner that prevents unlocking of the door by the manual handle, since a house owner may find it inconvenient to have to walk around the outside of their house locking the doors.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for dynamically assembling and utilizing a pedigree of a resource. A pedigree of a resource is a set of statements that describe a provenance of the resource. As described herein, a document may include local pedigree fragments and optionally one or more pointers to remote pedigree fragments not locally stored in the document. A pedigree fragment, generally, is a data structure that specifies a direct relationship between a first resource, e.g., a primary resource, and a second resource from which an asserted fact of the first resource is derived. Because a pedigree fragment specifies such direct relationships, a set of pedigree fragments may be used to assemble the complete pedigree of resource.

Abstract: A receptacle for receiving objects, such as mail or parcels, has a main housing having an input opening through which objects may be placed into the receptacle, and a hopper style door rotatable coupled within the housing. The hopper has bottom for receiving an object and a hopper cover disposed under the bottom. The hopper is rotatable between an open position in which the bottom is accessible through the opening and a closed position in which the hopper cover blocks the input opening. A flap is coupled to the hopper and is rotatable between an up position when the hopper is in the open position in which the flap forms a back wall adjacent the rear edge of the bottom, and a down position when the hopper is in the fully closed position in which the flap allows an object to slide off the bottom and out of the hopper.

Abstract: On a typical motherboard the processor and memory are separated by a printed circuit data bus that traverses the motherboard. Throughput, or data transfer rate, on the data bus is much lower than the rate at which a modern processor can operate. The difference between the data bus throughput and the processor speed significantly limits the effective processing speed of the computer when the processor is required to process large amounts of data stored in the memory. The processor is forced to wait for data to be transferred to or from the memory, leaving the processor under-utilized. The delays are compounded in a distributed computing system including a number of computers operating in parallel. The present disclosure describes systems, method and apparatus that tend to alleviate delays so that memory access bottlenecks are not compounded within distributed computing systems.

Abstract: A method, device and computer program product for address-based historical records research includes receiving input of an address in researching history of persons. In response to receiving the address input, querying, using a computing device, a database to determine if any information is associated with the address, the database comprising information including, for example, names of people who were associated with the address, historical pictures of the address, and community information about the address. In response to locating address data about the inputted address in the database, retrieving the address data and outputting the address data.

Abstract: The invention is directed to techniques for allowing a user to remotely interrogate a target computing device in order to collect and analyze computer evidence that may be stored on the target computing device. A forensic device receives input from a remote user that identifies computer evidence to acquire from the target computing device. The forensic device acquires the computer evidence from the target computing device and presents a user interface for the forensic device through which the remote user views the computer evidence acquired from the target computing device. In this manner, forensic device allows the user to interrogate the target computing device to acquire the computer evidence without seizing or otherwise “shutting down” the target device.

Abstract: A forensic device allows a user to remotely interrogate a target computing device in order to collect and analyze computer evidence that may be stored on the target computing device. The forensic device acquires the computer evidence from the target computing device and filters the computer evidence using an application-specific system-level privilege profile that describes the aggregate exercise of system-level privileges by a plurality of software application instances executing throughout an enterprise. The forensic device presents a user interface through which the remote user views the filtered computer evidence acquired from the target computing device. In this manner, forensic device allows the user to filter the collected computer evidence to data that is likely to have forensic relevance.
