The sample analysis tool 10 further includes a hydrophilic component layer 15, and the hydrophilic component layer 15 is formed on part or the whole of at least one of a surface of the plastic base 16 and a surface of the development member 11. It is particularly preferable that the hydrophilic component layer 15 contains sucrose or N-methyl glucosamine.
