  • Publication number: 20220240628
Abstract: A design support apparatus includes: an input unit that receives shoe last data; a processor (computing unit) that computes a cutting pattern of a sheet based on the shoe last data received by the input unit; and an output unit that outputs the cutting pattern of the sheet computed by the processor. The processor calculates an amount of correction in consideration of a shrinkage direction and a shrinkage coefficient of the sheet, and calculates the cutting pattern of the sheet by developing, on a plane, three-dimensional shape data that conforms to a dimension of the shoe last data, to thereby obtain a shape pattern of an upper, and incorporating the calculated amount of correction into the shape pattern of the upper.

  • Patent number: 8863407
Abstract: An athletic shoe suitable for efficient running. A depression is formed in the rear foot portion which extends forward from the calcaneal bone and which does not contact the ground. A band-like area is provided in the middle foot portion extending in the front-rear direction in the central portion between the medial side and the lateral side of the shoe sole so as to be continuous with the depression. The reinforcement member and the midsole are provided in the middle foot portion so that the upper surface of the midsole less easily sinks downward due to a load from above on the medial side than in the band-like area and on the lateral side. In the front foot portion, a longitudinal groove is formed which extends in the front-rear direction in the central portion of the midsole body so as to be continuous with the band-like area. The longitudinal groove is curved so as to be generally parallel to the lateral edge of the front foot portion of sole.

Abstract: A shoe sole of the present invention includes a first member 10 including a first deformable portion 11, and a second member 20 including a second deformable portion 21. In a non-worn state, a first lower surface 10d of the first deformable portion 11 and a second upper surface 20u of the second deformable portion 21 are substantially spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction. Under a first load, the first deformable portion 11 deflects downward, whereby the first lower surface 10d can approach the second upper surface 20u until the first lower surface 10d contacts the second upper surface 20u. Under a second load, the deformable portions 11 and 21 both deflect downward with the engagement elements 12 and 22 of the deformable portions 11 and 21 engaging with each other.
