Abstract: A door handle assembly includes a chassis, first and second trim plates, and a latch assembly. The chassis includes an interior chassis portion and an exterior chassis portion. The interior chassis portion is configured to extend from a first side of a door and includes at least one trim engagement mechanism. The exterior chassis portion is configured to extend from a second side of a door and includes at least one trim engagement mechanism. The first trim plate is configured to removably engage the first trim engagement mechanism, optionally via a trim plate adapter. The second trim plate is configured to removably engage the second trim engagement mechanism, also optionally via a trim plate adapter. The latch assembly extends between the exterior chassis portion and the interior chassis portion. The first trim engagement mechanism and the second trim engagement mechanism are capable of removably engaging with interchangeable trim plates.

Abstract: A faucet is provided that electronically controls the flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed. The faucet illustratively includes a faucet body and a faucet handle. In some embodiments, the faucet may include a faucet body and be voice controlled. The faucet illustratively includes an inertial motion unit sensor mounted in the faucet handle to sense spatial orientation of the faucet handle. The faucet illustratively includes an electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed. The faucet illustratively includes a controller configured to receive signals from the inertial motion unit sensor and control the electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed based upon the position of the faucet handle.

Abstract: An electronic lockset that allows for remote monitoring includes a locking mechanism, a motion sensor, a camera, and a wireless communication module. The locking mechanism is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The motion sensor is configured to detect a person in proximity to the electronic lockset. The camera is configured to capture media content of the person detected by the motion sensor. The wireless communication module is configured to wirelessly transmit the captured media content to an electronic device.

Abstract: A lockset with a latch assembly having a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The lockset includes a motor configured to move the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. A controller is provided that is configured to electronically control the motor to control movement of the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position responsive to receiving a valid authentication from an authentication device. The lockset includes a receiver connected to an antenna to detect an incoming wireless signal transmitted from an authentication device. The controller includes an angle of arrival sensor configured to determine a distance and a direction to the authentication device by analyzing a wireless phase and timing of the incoming wireless signal transmitted by the authentication device.

Abstract: A latch assembly is provided where the latch is moveable to open and close a door by operation of a dead lock assembly that blocks or unblocks movement of a bolt. In a blocked state, a blocking cartridge of the dead lock assembly is prevented from inward movement, blocking inward movement of the bolt. Turning a door knob or door handle causes a spindle extending through the dead lock assembly to move locking bars of the dead locking assembly, the locking bars moving further apart to permit the blocking cartridge to slide there between and move inwardly into the latch housing. The bolt can now move inward by force of the doorjamb upon the bolt in order to clear the doorjamb when opening and closing the door.

Abstract: Secure enrollment of a user with an electronic lock is provided. Enrollment with the lock may include a verification process and a secure enrollment mode based on verification of a unique enrollment code (UEC) associated with an enrollment invitation link that may be provided to the user. Selection of the link may direct the user's mobile device to a client application, where an option may be provided for initiating the verification process. The UEC may be communicated to and presented by the lock. The user's device may capture the presented UEC, which may be compared against the UEC generated in association with the link. When validated, the lock may enter the secure enrollment mode, where the user can register an actuation passcode, or the lock may be paired with the mobile device over a short-range wireless connection, which may allow the user to actuate the lock via the client application.

Abstract: An electronic lock includes exterior and interior assemblies. The electronic lock includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The exterior and interior assemblies are connected to, and capable of actuating, the bolt. The exterior assembly includes an escutcheon and a sensor to selectively actuate movement of the bolt. The sensor has a first side and an opposite second side and the first side is accessible from the escutcheon and the sensor is in communication with, and connected to, the processor of the interior assembly. The exterior assembly includes a first seal positioned around the sensor at the first side between the sensor and the escutcheon. The exterior assembly includes a retainer that is positioned at the second side of the sensor to position the sensor immediately adjacent the escutcheon.

Abstract: Generally, methods and systems related to electronic locksets for sliding doors are disclosed. One method of installing an electronic lockset includes mounting a strike plate with a retaining groove on a top portion of the sliding door, attaching a lock assembly behind a rail of the sliding door. The lock assembly including a locking tab coupled to a motor to actuate the locking tab between an extended position and a retracted position. The method further comprising wirelessly connecting a control device to the electronic lockset. Where the control device configured to send actuation commands to the electronic lockset to move the locking tab between the extended position and the retracted position and the strike plate and lock assembly are configured to be installed such that the electronic lockset is in a locked position when the locking tab is in alignment with the retaining groove and is in the extended position.

Abstract: A mounting plate for an electronic lock includes a main body and a wiring harness electrical receptacle configured to connect to a wiring harness. The mounting plate includes a wiring harness receiving port that is defined in the main body and axially aligned with the wiring harness electrical receptacle. The wiring harness receiving port includes a first portion sized and shaped to seal around the wiring harness and a second portion sized and shaped to axially limit movement of the wiring harness therein.

Abstract: A diverter for a spout includes a housing defining a compartment with an opening and one or more passageways positioned around the compartment to allow passage of a water flow. An actuator extends into the compartment. The actuator is slidable in a first direction from a resting position to a diverting position and is slidable in a second direction from the diverting position to the resting position. The first and second directions are opposite directions parallel to a central axis of the housing. The actuator being configured to block the water flow when in the diverting position.

Abstract: A method of enrolling a user at a biometric lockset is described. The method includes receiving user access information from a mobile device of an administrative user of the biometric lockset. The user access information indicates to the biometric lockset to enter an enrollment mode in which a user identity is associated with fingerprint data in a user entry within a memory of the biometric lockset. A plurality of different light codes are displayed on the lockset, each one of the plurality of light codes representative of a different state of fingerprint data capture. A message is transmitted to the mobile device, and corresponds to the light code displayed at the lockset. The completed fingerprint data is stored in association with the user identity of the user in the user entry.

Abstract: A wireless electromechanical lock with one or more of an internal antenna, touch activation, and/or a light communication device that acts as a user interface. In some embodiments, the lock utilizes an antenna near the exterior face of the lockset, designed inside the metal body of the lockset itself. A light communication device is provided in some embodiments to communicate information, visually, to the user via animations and dynamic displays of light. In some embodiments, the lockset includes a touch activation capability, which can be used to lock/unlock the lock and/or otherwise provide input.
