Abstract: A latch assembly includes a housing, a bolt pivotably coupled to a first end of a carriage, and a locking bar. The bolt is configured to extend and retract relative to a first end of the housing. An interposer member is independently slidable along the longitudinal axis relative to the carriage. Upon sliding the interposer member towards a second end of the housing, the interposer member engages the locking bar and moves the locking bar out of an axial path of a second end of the carriage. The bolt being allowed to retract relative to the first end of the housing.
Abstract: A retention assembly for a faucet includes an elongated spout bearing with one end coupled to a faucet body and a second end extending therefrom. A spout tube includes a fitting disposed therein. A retention clip is disposed at the second end of the spout bearing and secures the second end of the spout bearing to the fitting of the spout tube. A majority of a length of the spout bearing is disposed within the spout tube when the spout tube is coupled to the faucet body via the retention assembly.
Abstract: In general, the present disclosure relates to methods and systems for updating wireless electronic locks. One aspect is a method for updating wireless electronic locks, the method comprising scanning, by the computing device, for signals broadcast from wireless electronic locks within proximity to the computing device, the electronic locks being compatible with a mobile application executing on the computing device, while scanning, recording signal strengths of the signals broadcast from the wireless electronic locks, determining a set of the wireless electronic locks which are within an acceptable range for updating based on the signal strengths, and sending updates from the computing device to the set of the wireless electronic locks.
Abstract: A rekeyable lock cylinder with a cylinder body and a plug assembly. The lock cylinder includes a plurality of key followers and a corresponding plurality of racks disposed in the plug assembly. Disengaging the racks from the key followers allows rekeying of the lock cylinder.
Abstract: A lockset assembly includes a first knob assembly having a projection with an enlarged head. A second knob assembly is configured to couple to the first knob assembly along a first axis. The second knob assembly including a rose liner with an opening is configured to receive the enlarged head of the projection in a bayonet connection. A retainer is coupled to the rose liner. The retainer defines a pocket shaped and sized to at least partially receive the projection, and the pocket is axially aligned with the opening. As the enlarged head is received within the opening, the retainer resiliently deflects to capture the projection within the pocket restricting disengagement of the enlarged head from the opening.
Abstract: A shower head including first and second coupling elements. One of the coupling elements is a male coupling element and the other coupling element is a female coupling element. The male coupling element is inserted into the female coupling element, and when attached, the male coupling element is overlapped by the female coupling element.

Abstract: An electronic lock with a latch assembly, an interior assembly, and an exterior assembly. The latch assembly includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The assembly includes an internal spring actuating mechanism. The assembly also includes a touch keypad subassembly configured to detect touches to at least a portion of its surface.
Abstract: A biometric wireless electronic lockset includes a processor, a battery, a memory communicatively connected to the processor, a user interface, a wireless communication interface, a locking bolt, a motor, and a biometric sensor. The processor is configured to execute instructions which cause the processor to compare stored biometric data to a received first biometric data. Each known user entry includes a user identity of a known user, biometric data, and an indication of whether the known user is an authorized user. Based on a determination that the first biometric data corresponds to a known user entry and whether or not the known user is an authorized user or an unauthorized user, a plurality of responses may be generated.
Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting and correcting insufficient locking behavior, using an electronic lockset. One aspect is a method of deadlatching an electronic lockset, the method comprising detecting motion of a deadbolt from an unlocked position toward a locked position, determining a position of the deadbolt after the motion ceases via a sensor of the electronic lockset, determining, based on the position, whether the deadbolt has moved to the locked position, wherein in the locked position the deadbolt is placed in a deadlatched state, and transmitting an actuation command to the electronic lockset to move the deadbolt into the locked position.
Abstract: An electronic lock access management system includes an electronic lock and a server system. In some embodiments, the server system includes a memory storing a database including a plurality of user accounts, each user account being associated with a set of privileges and one or more properties, each property being associated with one or more locks, each of the locks being associated with one or more access codes that are specific to each user. In some embodiments, the electronic lock stores, in the lock memory, an encrypted copy of an access code list received from the server system based on a set of access codes that are associated with the electronic lock in the database.
Abstract: A lockset that includes a latch assembly, an interior assembly and an exterior assembly. The latch assembly includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The interior assembly is configured to electronically control movement of the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. The exterior assembly includes a locking assembly configured to be mechanically coupled with the latch assembly. The interior assembly includes an interior wireless communication unit and the exterior assembly includes an exterior wireless communication unit that is configured to wirelessly communicate therebetween. In some embodiments, an exterior assembly includes a photovoltaic cell and the interior assembly includes a light source. The light source and the solar cell are configured for wirelessly communicating and for power transmission between the exterior and interior assemblies through a bore hole in the door.

Abstract: A deadbolt assembly with a latch assembly and a lock cylinder. The deadbolt assembly includes a first torque blade longitudinally extending along a first axis and a second torque blade longitudinally extending along a second axis. The second torque blade is operatively coupled with the latch assembly to actuate the bolt between the retracted position and the extended position. The deadbolt assembly includes a geared arrangement operatively coupling the first torque blade and the second torque blade. The gear arrangement is configured to apply rotational movement of the first torque blade to the second torque blade.
