Abstract: A biometric wireless electronic lockset includes a processor, a battery, a memory communicatively connected to the processor, a user interface, a wireless communication interface, a locking bolt, a motor, and a biometric sensor. The processor is configured to execute instructions which cause the processor to compare stored biometric data to a received first biometric data. Each known user entry includes a user identity of a known user, biometric data, and an indication of whether the known user is an authorized user. Based on a determination that the first biometric data corresponds to a known user entry and whether or not the known user is an authorized user or an unauthorized user, a plurality of responses may be generated.
