  • Patent number: 12096455
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards operating a user equipment node as a scheduler user equipment (e.g., which can be a local manager of other nodes in a group). The scheduler user equipment receives a scheduling request for the scheduling of the resources for transmission of data by a transmitter user equipment, and based on the traffic type requested, schedules the transmitter user equipment and receiver user equipment(s) with scheduling data/allocated radio resources. The transmitter user equipment can directly transmit to the receiver user equipment(s) on the allocated radio resources, e.g., without further involvement of the scheduler user equipment/local manager. For cellular data, the scheduler user equipment can schedule the transmitter user equipment to transmit to the scheduler user equipment as a receiver node.

  • Patent number: 12095713
Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for a multi-beam Listen Before Talk which is a coexistence mechanism used by wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, to access unlicensed shared spectrum, such as the ISM UNII bands (5 GHz). The embodiments disclosed herein enable a transceiver to determine whether or not there is activity on a beam to avoid causing interference. The transceiver can determine that there is activity in a certain direction, and then avoid transmitting on a beam in that direction until the activity ceases. While there is activity in a first beam, the transceiver can continue to transmit on other beams that will not cause interference with a transmission associated with the first beam.

  • Patent number: 12096413
Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for facilitating updating a slot format used for establishing a radio sidelink. According an embodiment, a system can receive a slot format over a sidelink, wherein the slot format comprises a first release parameter and a transmit period. The system can further facilitate determining whether the first release parameter matches a second release parameter stored in the memory. The system can further facilitate, in response to the determining indicating that the first release parameter matched the second release parameter, updating a resource map used to transmit data, resulting in an updated resource map. The system can further facilitate transmitting the slot format based on the transmit period.

  • Patent number: 12093333
Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may obtain at least one search term and an identity of a searcher, identify individuals who are each either a one-step or two-step association of the searcher, identify first documents associated with the individuals and associated with the search term(s), calculate, for each individual, a score based upon citations of second documents to documents associated with the individual from among the first documents, generate an invitation to at least one individual to appear in a search result, and obtain a consent from the at least one individual. The processing system may then present the search result as an ordered list of at least a portion of the individuals, where the ordered list is ordered by the score for each individual, and where the at least the portion of the plurality of individuals includes the at least one individual.

  • Patent number: 12095771
Abstract: A system allows for higher security guarantees on public or shared or even compromised equipment, which may be designated as untrusted equipment, without a need to install additional software on it or connect to it outside of general browser interactions. Based on this system, even if it is compromised, proper information separation may ensure security of the sensitive parts of data. That is, trusted information will only go to (outputs) or come from (inputs) trusted devices and insensitive information can go to or come from both trusted and untrusted devices.

  • Patent number: 12095813
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards homoglyph attack detection. A homoglyph attack detection service can create images of customer's protected domain names. A convolutional neural network can generate feature vectors based on the images. The feature vectors can be stored in a similarity search data store. Newly observed domain names can be compared to the customer's protected domain names, by also generating feature vectors for the newly observed domain names and conducting approximate nearest neighbor searches. Search results can be further evaluated by comparing protected domain names to newly observed domain names using a siamese neural network which applies a similarity threshold. Newly observed domain names that meet or exceed the similarity threshold can be flagged for further action.

Abstract: A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a processing system that analyses, without user intervention, content of a first message directed from equipment of a sending user to equipment of a receiving user, to identify a task. The processing system determines that the receiving user is unable to perform the task according to biometric data of the receiving user. The biometric data is selected from one of heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and combinations thereof. According to the content of the first message and the biometric data obtained from the receiving user, the processing system determines that the task should be delegated to another user, and responsive thereto, provides a second message associated with the task to equipment of the other user. • Publication number: 20240305392
Abstract: Architectures and techniques are presented that can provide point-to-point analysis to generate an improved signal strength prediction (SSP) based on, e.g., earth surface image data processing and analysis to draw conclusions of line of sight (LOS) along the propagation path between a BTS or another AP transmitter and CPE receiver. For example, USGS image data and/or elevation data of locations are identified to correspond to signal propagation between the transmitter and receiver can be analyzed for LOS signal quality at a fixed location, in addition to the statistical model prediction of the RF signal quality. As a result, foliage or terrain that obstructs the LOS can be identified and utilized to improve SSP by eliminating the additional pathloss due to LOS obstructions. Such can provide a significant improvement to SSP results that are conventionally predicted by statistical models rather than a point-to-point analysis.

Abstract: A closed loop carrier sense multiple access multiuser request to send and clear to send handshaking system is provided to efficiently allocate licensed and unlicensed spectrum for a plurality of mobile devices and across different base stations and mobile network operators. A user equipment device can be connected to a base station device via a first frequency in licensed spectrum, and a second frequency in unlicensed spectrum. The air interface on the first frequency can then be used to coordinate physical and virtual carrier sensing on a second frequency among a plurality of user equipment devices. Moreover, carrier sensing results from a plurality of UEs can be reported a base station device via the first frequency in licensed spectrum. The base station device can then schedule multiple user multiple input, multiple output (MU-MIMO) transmissions to a plurality of UEs on the second frequency in unlicensed spectrum.
