Abstract: A method for the calibration or end sizing of a hollow profile component produced by extrusion for automobile manufacturing. The hollow profile component is inserted into the cavity of an opened press tool and closing the press tool. A torque generated by the motor is influenced as a regulated variable as a function of at least one state variable of the drive train determined on the basis of the model.

Abstract: An electric machine comprising a rotor having a rotor body. The rotor body has multiple poles each carrying at least one rotor winding formed from multiple conductor loops. The poles extend in a radial direction of the rotor and the conductor loops pass through slots each formed between two adjacent poles. A support element extending in the radial direction is arranged in each of the slots between the rotor windings of the adjacent poles. Abstract: A protective device for switching off a battery cell of a motor vehicle battery in the event of an electrical short-circuit. The battery cell has two cell terminals and an energy storage unit for storing energy. The energy storage unit is connected to the cell terminals in an electrically conductive manner in order to provide cell voltage to the cell terminals. The protective device detects the short-circuit as a function of at least the cell voltage affecting the battery cell. In this case, the battery cell has the protective device and at least one switching device, which is arranged between the energy storage unit and at least one of the cell terminals. The protective device isolates the energy storage unit from the at least one of the cell terminals in order to switch off the battery cell by the switching device.

Abstract: A display panel in a display device has a pixel matrix and control circuitry designed to actuate pixel elements of the pixel matrix for displaying at least one graphic display object. In the method, an operational action by the user is first detected by means of a detection device, which comprises a selection of a setting range and a movement relative to the pane. Subsequently, an expansion of the visibility screen area at the setting range is set as a function of the detected movement by means of a control device.
