Abstract: A sprayer system including a wand, a rotary arm, a motor, a housing, a support, and a controller or control panel. The wand has a nozzle at one end. The rotary arm rotates around a first axle, and is connected at a distal end through a bearing to an opposite end of the wand. The housing covers or encloses a part of the wand, the rotary arm, and a rotatable ring through which the wand passes. The motor drives rotation of the rotary arm. The support mechanically supports the housing. The controller/control panel controls rotation of the rotary arm. The wand, the rotary arm and the ring are configured so that rotation of the rotary arm causes the nozzle to move in a circular, elliptical and/or oval pattern. Methods of making and using the sprayer system and software for controlling the system are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11619924
Abstract: A combined visualization configuration is stored and provided by a visualization manager to a thin client HMI. Based upon the configuration, the thin client HMI accesses individual visualizations from automation components, such as automation controllers, motor controllers, camera, and so forth. Policies may be established for users and their roles, and for particular thin client HMIs, and for particular locations of or around a machine or process being monitored and/or controlled. Based on the policies, the individual visualizations are combined and may be changed if one or more of the factors changes. Interactions with the individual visualizations of the combined visualization result in signals back to the automation components originating the visualizations.

  • Publication number: 20230084639
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for 3D engineering drawing extrapolation and automation incorporating Machine Learning (ML). The instant innovation receives a 3D computer model of a part to be manufactured, and automatically breaks the model into labelled surfaces capable of being attributed, assigned and represented by 2D drawings. One or more sub-processes receives data defining attributes of the 2D drawings and performs calculations to pre-determine drill-hole locations on a machine-ready part. The system then determines if there are unintended gaps, interferences, or other irregularities resident thereupon. The system creates a list of any irregularities and returns a punch list to a human user for correction. The system utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS) to both perform data extracting and flattening of the 3D model and to select optimally-sized machine stock and optimize its orientation in relation to the manufacturing machine head.

  • Patent number: 11596098
Abstract: A system, an apparatus and a method for uniformly applying UAN fertilizing liquid to soil on farmland for the purpose of increasing crop yields. The system has an UAN sprayer distribution rail applicator apparatus which may be pulled behind a tow vehicle or pushed by a sprayer or fertilizer applicator. The atmospheric tank contains UAN fertilizing liquid which passes from a pump, through a safety shut-off valve, and through a turbine style flow meter. A safety bypass line is provided upstream of the flow meter to relieve unsafe hydraulic pressure back through a pressure-sensitive valve in the event that multiple control valves close simultaneously. Flow through this bypass line also provides mixing of the UAN fertilizing liquid during cold weather. Upon exiting the flow meter, the UAN fluid enters the center of a distribution rail assembly. Spray nozzles with individual automatic shut-off valves are spaced across the distribution rail assembly.

  • Patent number: 11491663
Abstract: A robotic force/torque (FT) sensor restricts the conduction of heat, generated by an attached tool, through the FT sensor body to a radial direction. Heat from the tool is channeled to the center of the FT sensor body by a thermally conductive member. Additionally, heat from the tool is insulated from portions of the FT sensor body other than its center by a thermally insulating member. Transducers, such as strain gages attached to the surfaces of deformable beams, are disposed at a substantially equal distance from the center of the FT sensor body. Accordingly, as heat conducts through the FT sensor body from the center radially outwardly, all transducers experience substantially equal thermal load at any given time.
