  • Patent number: 9921369
Abstract: The invention concerns a multimode optical fiber, with an ct-profile graded-index core with an a-value between 1.96 and 2.05 and a N value defined as N=(R1/?)2(n12?n02) between 7 and 52, where R1 is the multimode core radius, n1 is the maximum index of the multimode core and n0 is the minimum index at the outer edge of the graded index core. According to the invention, a depressed region directly surrounds the graded/index core and satisfies the criteria: ?2.20<Dn2<0, where Dn2 is the index difference of depressed region with external cladding, and 220 Ln(N)?1100<V2<220 Ln(N)?865, where V2 is the volume of the depressed region. Such a multimode fiber shows an increased OFL-bandwidth above 10000 Hz·km at an operating wavelength between 950 nm and 1310 nm.

  • Patent number: 9919279
Abstract: An adjustable coupler for linking an oscillating kneader to a gear box. The adjustable coupling has a slide coupler adapted to be slidably received within an output couple of a gear box. The slide coupler has external splines wherein the external splines mate with splines of the output couple thereby coupling rotation of the slide coupler with rotation of the output couple. The internal splines are capable of mating with external splines of a slidably received kneader input shaft thereby coupling rotation of the kneader input shaft with rotation of the slide coupler. A plug in the slide coupler abut the kneader input shaft in the slide coupler and a lock mechanism maintains the kneader input shaft abutted against the plug.

  • Patent number: 9924156
Abstract: In one embodiment, range data is combined with an image in order to create a stereo image from the single collected image. An apparatus receives image data associated with a geographic location and range data associated with the geographic location. The range data may be a point cloud. At least one perspective image is formed based on the image data and the range data. The perspective image has a viewpoint different than single collected image. The apparatus generates a stereo image from the at least one perspective image. The stereo image appears to have depth. The at least one perspective image may include two images, each offset by a distance to estimate eye separation.
