Abstract: A clutch and/or brake module has a heat sink which is attached to a transmission housing for the purpose of discharging heat. The brake module further has a brake disc, which is connected to a rotational member formed by a shaft (schematically indicated by a center line). The brake disc is provided on one side with a lining and faces with this side towards the heat sink. The brake is a dry brake and is not lubricated. The brake module further has an actuation system (cylinder with piston movable therein, schematically indicated by an arrow) which can exert an axial pressing force directly on the brake disc. The brake disc is located axially between the heat sink and the actuation system. The cooling plate is secured to a transmission housing, a part of which is schematically shown.

Abstract: A semiconductor sensor device is assembled using a lead frame having a flag surrounded by lead fingers. A pressure sensor die is mounted on the flag and electrically connected to the leads. Prior to encapsulation, a pre-formed block of gel material is placed over the sensor region on the die. Encapsulation is performed and mold compound covers the pressure sensor die and the bond wires. Mold compound covering the gel block may be removed. Additionally, a trench may be formed around an upper portion of the gel block so that the lateral sides of the gel block are at least partially exposed.

The apparatus further comprises a registration actuator movably arranged with respect to the support body for selectively arranging a registration element into the registering state.
Abstract: Embodiments are provided that include a light emitting diode (LED) controller connectable to a matrix of LEDs. A start code is received via at least one input pin, and a selected curve profile is retrieved from a programmable local memory in response to receipt of the start code, wherein the programmable local memory stores a set of curve profiles, each of which is associated with a different start code. A set of coefficients of a polynomial calculator are initialized to a set of values defined in the selected curve profile, wherein the set of values represent a light output curve. A sequence of light intensity values are calculated according to the polynomial calculator, and at least one pulse width modulation (PWM) signal is generated based on the sequence of light intensity values, wherein the at least one PWM signal controls light output of at least one LED.

Abstract: An implantable device for controlling hemorrhage in a body cavity comprising an expandable balloon and a conduit for supplying a physiologically compatible fluid to inflate the balloon is described. The balloon tamponade device is inserted into the body cavity and is inflated with a physiologically suitable fluid so that the balloon generally conforms to the body cavity and exerts compressive force against the walls, tissues or structures of the body cavity to control hemorrhage. The balloon may have a deforming means to limit expansion of the balloon in a direction to facilitate expansion of the balloon in another direction. The device may have additional tubes within the conduit, or a plurality of separate lumens within the conduit or tubes to allow drainage and irrigation to the body cavity. A method of controlling hemorrhage in a body cavity by using the implantable device is also contemplated.

Abstract: Disclosed is a winch control arrangement, including a retaining device for a cable, a rotatable drum having a rotational axis, and a substantially circular, centric storage part with a storage surface containing at least two windings of cable. The distance of the storage surface to the rotational axis is substantially constant. An eccentric holding part with a holding surface contains at least two cable windings. The distance of the holding surface to the rotational axis varies around the circumference of the holding part. A cable guide lies at a perpendicular distance from the rotational axis and the drum itself, and is movable substantially parallel to the rotational axis between a first position allowing cable winding on the centric storage part and a second position allowing cable winding on the eccentric part. The cable guide is connected to automatic movement unit for moving the cable guide between the two positions.
Abstract: The current invention provides methods to identify ?9?2T-cell receptors (?9?2TCR) that mediate anti-tumor responses. Surprisingly, it was now found that the CDR3 regions of the ?9-T-cell receptor chain and the ?2-T-Cell receptor chain (?2TCR chain) are of importance. Based on these findings, combinatorial-??TCR-chain-exchange (CTE) is proposed as an efficient method for identifying ?9?2TCRs that mediate anti-tumor responses. Using the method of the invention, specific sequences of the respective ?9TCR and ?2TCR chains were identified that mediate anti-tumor responses. Hence, the invention further provides for specific ?9?2TCRs, or fragments thereof, that may be used e.g. in diagnostics or treatment of cancer. The invention further provides for nucleic acid sequences, genetic constructs and retroviral vectors that can be used to express the ?9?2TCRs according to the invention.

Abstract: Driver with open output protection Starting current for a load driver (200; 300) for driving a load (L) is provided via the load. In a load driver (200; 300) for driving a load (L), an operating current or an operating voltage at a reference point is derived from a power voltage bus (105; 305) by coupling said reference point to said power voltage bus via the load. A load driver (200; 300) for driving a load (L) comprises an output capacitor (125; 325) and two output terminals (128, 129; 328, 329) coupled to the output capacitor. A coupling diode (202; 325) is coupled in forward connection from one output terminal to a terminal of the output buffer capacitor. A startup terminal (111) of a converter circuit (110) is coupled to said one output terminal (129; 329) to receive a startup current (Is) via the driven load if the load is present to conduct this current.
