  • Patent number: 8508468
Abstract: A display apparatus is disclosed comprising a plurality of electrofluidic chromatophore (EFC) pixel cells, each pixel cell comprising a fluid holder for holding a polar fluid and a non-polar fluid having differing display properties. The fluid holder comprises a fluid reservoir and a channel. The channel is connected to the reservoir so as to enable movement of the polar fluid and non-polar fluid between the channel and the reservoir. A supply voltage applied to the channel results in a movement of the polar fluid to change a cell display property. A circuit board supplies an electrical charge to the pixel cells to generate the supply voltage. A display controller comprises a state lookup table storing, for a respective pixel cell, the current pixel cell display property. The display controller calculates the electrical charge as a function of the current pixel cell display property and the new pixel cell display property.

  • Patent number: 8508736
Abstract: A lithographic apparatus has an alignment system including a radiation source configured to convert narrow-band radiation into continuous, flat and broad-band radiation. An acoustically tunable narrow pass-band filter filters the broad-band radiation into narrow-band linearly polarized radiation. The narrow-band radiation may be focused on alignment targets of a wafer so as to enable alignment of the wafer. In an embodiment, the filter is configured to modulate an intensity and wavelength of radiation produced by the radiation source and to have multiple simultaneous pass-bands. • Patent number: 8510395
Abstract: A technique for contact list aggregation across networks involves logging into low level networks through a high level network. A system constructed according to the technique may include a network interface coupled to the different low level networks. The system may further include a contact aggregation engine coupled to the network interface and a network contacts database. In operation the system logs into one or more of the low level networks (or facilitates login for a user). To the extent that the data in the network contacts database is not current, the contact aggregation engine updates the networks contacts database contact information, then provides an aggregated contact list including the contact information to a display device. A method according to the technique may include logging into a high level network and displaying contacts from the one or more low level networks in an aggregated contact list. The method may further include logging into the one or more low level networks.

  • Publication number: 20130205132
Abstract: The invention provides for a solution enabling obtaining a control word in the client. The client device has a unique binary identification. An input transformed control word is mapped from an input transform domain to an output transform domain to thereby obtain an output transformed control word by successively applying a transformation function to the input transformed control word using each compound of seeds from the set successively as an input to the successive transformation functions. Each of the successive transformation functions is one of a regular transformation function, a first special transformation function and a second special transformation function. The obtained control word can be used to decrypt one of two copies of a part of content data. The copy that can be decrypted contains a watermark representing either a binary “0” or a binary “1” and represents a bit of the unique binary identification of the client device.
