Abstract: Method and assembly for manufacturing a green tyre using a building drum (1) and a transfer device (3). The method comprises a step of arranging and forming a first tyre component assembly for the green tyre on a building drum (1), a step of placing the transfer device (3) around the building drum, a removal step of the first tyre component assembly for the green tyre being removed from the building drum (1) by the transfer device (3). After the removal step second tyre components for the same green tyre are arranged on the building drum (1), followed by a step of placing the transfer device (3) around the building drum (1), and a step of placing the first tyre component assembly on the second tyre components.

Abstract: A single sensing probe comprising multiple, spatially separate, sensing sites is utilized to sense neural activity. The sensing probe includes multiple conductors each with multiple sensing sites in a fixed geometric arrangement. The sensing probe is configured to comprise multiple combined sensing sites in polytrode configuration. By appropriately combining the wire groupings at each combined sensing site, activity sensed from a single wire with multiple sensing sites, can be coupled with other wires to unmix signals from the spatially separate sites and leverage the power of combinatorics to maximize total recording bandwidth and single neuron/unit yield per wire and per probe.

Abstract: A circuit for a switched mode power supply having a winding. The circuit comprising: an input configured to receive a winding voltage derived from the winding; a differentiation element configured to differentiate the winding voltage with respect to time in order to determine a derivative signal and compare the derivative signal with a threshold value; a steady state detector configured to set a zero derivative signal when the derivative signal has not exceeded the threshold value for a predetermined period of time, and a logic arrangement configured to identify an end of a demagnetization stroke of the switched mode power supply when the derivative signal crosses a final threshold value after the zero derivative signal has been set.
Abstract: A method of forming a biosensor chip enables a bond pad and detector electrode to be formed of different materials (one is formed of a connection layer such as copper and the other is formed of a diffusion barrier layer such as tantalum or tantalum nitride). A single planarizing operation is used for both the bond pad and the detector electrode. By using the same processing, resist patterning on an already-planarized surface is avoided, and the cleanliness of both the bond pad and detector electrode is ensured. Self-aligned nanoelectrodes and bond pads are obtained.
Abstract: The invention pertains to a transaction system and method of conducting a transaction. Particularly, the invention pertains to a transaction system and method of conducting a transaction wherein the transaction is initiated by the consumer using a mobile device with a unique identifier. The consumer initiates the transaction by entering a vendor provided transaction initiation code into the mobile device. The transaction identifier code and unique identifier of the mobile device is transmitted to a server. Using the unique identifier the server can retrieve pre-existing transaction options specific to the unique identifier of the mobile device. The transaction options can either be transmitted to the mobile device to allow the consumer to input any preferences relating to the transaction options or to a vendor sales system of a vendor for further processing.
Abstract: A subsurface support comprises a soil nail having an outer member and an inner member placed within the outer member.
