Abstract: A print engine for producing printed output according to image data in a print job includes in its user interface an activation element for printing a part of the image data in a selected print job using currently applicable calibration data. After inspection of the printed output the selected print job may be finished without further calibration or it may be finished after a calibration is performed. This calibration of the intensity of the process colours is performed for a job control value that occurs within the selected print job. Therefore the effect of the calibration is directly visible to the user of the print engine.

Abstract: The invention relates to a sleeving device, a set of a mandrel and collector and a method for arranging a sleeve around a product, such as a container, wherein static charges on the sleeve are reduced. Foil is fed over a mandrel, is cut into sleeves, and ejected over containers. According to the invention static charge is removed from the sleeve's inner surface by collecting static charge in a collector arranged on the mandrel. The collector includes electrical filaments positioned along an inner circumference of the sleeve. The charge is discharged afterwards, e.g. using a spark gap, via a discharger mounted on the frame and connected to the earth.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for splitting a pattern for use in a multi-beamlet lithography apparatus. The method comprises providing an input pattern to be exposed onto a target surface by means of a plurality of beamlets of the multi-beamlet lithography apparatus. Within the input pattern first and second regions are identified. A first region is a region that is exclusively exposable by a single beamlet of the plurality of beamlets. A second region is a region that is exposable by more than one beamlet of the plurality of beamlets. On the basis of an assessment of the first and second regions it is determined what portion of the pattern is to be exposed by each beamlet.

Abstract: A stabilizing device for a load element of a ground anchor includes two plate members, wherein the plate members have a generally L-shape and are complementary and do form a generally cross shape when coupled together and when coupled together form a feed through sleeve for leading the load element there through. Each plate member includes at least one recess surrounded by plate material, which at least one recess of each plate member receives a central feed through sleeve forming plate member portion when the plate members are coupled together for forming the generally cross shaped stabilizing device.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and a method for filling containers such as crates with products, such as glass objects, eggs etc. The device herein comprises a filling station with a setup position for placing the container with the bottom thereof. There is also a feed which during operation feeds at least one of the products at a time to the setup position and is adapted to place the at least one of the products in the container. The method comprises of corresponding operations. In order to achieve an optimum fill factor of the container and prevent breakage of and/or damage to the products as far as possible, the device and the method are respectively distinguished by a fluid flow generator adapted to generate a fluid flow during operation through the bottom of the container and by generating the fluid flow through the bottom of the container.
Abstract: A communication partner appliance is implemented within a near field communication system. The communication partner appliance includes a receiver, a detector, and a processor. The receiver receives a NFC command signal from another communication partner appliance. The detector detects whether a carrier signal from the other communication partner appliance is present at the receiver at a time other than during a transmission of the NFC command signal from the other communication partner appliance to the receiver. The processor controls a power supply element based on a determination by the detector whether the carrier signal from the other communication partner appliance is present at the receiver. The power supply element is configured to establish a connection to either a first power supply or a second power supply. The first power supply is dependent on the carrier signal, and the second power supply is independent of the carrier signal.

The point shaped pins are individually adjustable with both gross set point adjustments and micro set point adjustments. The sight pins are structured as plates stacked within a pin housing supported by an adjustment bracket connecting to a riser mount secured to the bow stock. The light gathering sight and structures provide brighter illumination while retaining a fine resolution point along with illuminated yardage indicators facing towards the archer. Each of the sight pins is grossly adjustable in a vertical orientation and finely adjustable through separate sets of adjustment bolts. The pin housing surrounds the sight pin tips to form a sight window through which the archer may aim the bow. Structures are provided on the external surface of the surrounding pin housing to support Picatinny Rails for accessory attachments.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for inspecting a device imprint lithography template to detect defect particles of imprintable medium remaining on the patterned imprinting surface after an earlier imprint step. The method involves illuminating the patterned surface with radiation of a first wavelength selected to induce fluorescence of the defect particles and not to induce fluorescence of anti-adhesion compound on the patterned surface. The presence of defect particles is indicated by the presence of fluorescence from the patterned surface and can be used to initiate a cleaning step when necessary, speeding processing by eliminating unnecessary cleaning. The elimination of false positives from transferred anti-adhesion compound is reduced or eliminated. Related apparatus is also disclosed.
